Q: Nexoptic received Notice of Allowance from the USPTO around June 29. As I understand, this means the USPTO intends to issue patent within 3 months (by Sept 30), subject to the filing fee and any blueprints necessary. Nexoptic's press release advise they expect to receive the patent in 4-8 weeks (meaning by August 31). This should quell questions "as to the robustness of its technology".
Other than your valid point of no sales at this point, is there a reason you can see that this significant event has not sparked greater interest by moving the share price and volume upwards?

Q: ITC since February has gone nothing but down. The chart looks terrible. PHO since April has gone nothing but down. It seems to remind me of CRH and CXR and we all know what happened there. Your opinion? Dennis

Q: My interest is dividends....this was top pick on BNN so had a look because of 6.0 percent div...2016 year shows significant loss in sales ..profit...first qtr 2017 shows more loss.....confused by recomdation...what am I missing....I would not consider this ...but would like your comments

Q: What do you think of this fund for a long term hold? It seems to hold small private tech companies and hold them through going public or being bought by a larger entity. I read somewhere that there is huge demand for small and medium sized Canadian tech companies.

Q: Jerome Haas mentioned that manufacturing of the buses is in China. Checking their website I find claims that they are Buy America compliant as well as having Atlanta GA in brackets after one such claim. They don't say specifically where manufacturing takes place but do list a global Chinese company as their manufacturing partner.

Can you clarify where buses are actually built, and how they can be buy America compliant if they are built in Chinna.
If built in China and buy America compliant, are they using a "loophole" which leaves them exposed to changes.

Q: Hi Team, I would appreciate your thoughts on MGX Minerals. It appears this Canadian company has patented a filtration system and recently successfully tested it for the removal of Li from oil and gas waste water. In addition purified water is a by product. I have been following the Li story and own shares in ORL and ALB. However, it seems this process is cheaper, faster and more efficient than the current solar and hard rock mining methods and we have lots of O&G. MGX can also apply their technology to recover magnesium and boron. Quite frankly the technology that MGX has tested seems to me like a HUGE discovery and breakthrough. Thanks Team Chris

Q: I am interested in PUR but the stock seems incredibly expensive on a P/E
basis for a company which has disappointed with flat earnings for a while.
Even their dividend is not covered by earnings. Can you explain why you like it so much?

Q: Hello 5i,
There appears to be a large seller dumping shares of STC through a TD brokerage account. I noticed other insiders had been buyers very recently in the low 80 cent range. Do you think this is a decent opportunity to buy some shares on the dip? I currently have a half position in STC as part of a small/micro cap growth portfolio. Thanks.
