Q: What is your assessment of this small cap? I purchased it about a month ago and of course it dropped almost immediately after I pulled the trigger. Maybe I should take my lumps and move on?
Q: QUIS has been moving in the right direction the past few days. On Friday I believe it was up almost 10%. The only news I see that might account for the strength was the announcement last week that the company was using 2 industry veterans to assist with strategic growth. Is this significant? Do you see anything else that might account for the upward momentum? What is your current assessment going forward?
I would like your position on PKG, their growth outlook and balance sheet. It looks like it starting to get a bit more traction but still a penny play.
Q: I am quite new to investing and want your opinion on the current state of penny stocks. I started putting money in penny stocks 2 months ago and have alot of them doing well, too well, such as SCR//LUCK/MMED/EXRO/PYR/TAAT/EATS/GRN/GDNP/PKG that would go up 100+% within a month. And I noticed there has been a lot of penny stocks out there that would jump 50% easily in a few days on no news. The frothiness is really scaring me. Is this a phenomenon that is recent since the pandemic? Or has penny stocks always been doing this well for many years and decades? How do you see their "bubbly-ness" in the next 12 months? What percentage of one's portfolio do you think should be dedicated to these aforementioned relatively safe (larger market cap, revenue generating) penny stocks, assuming excellent income, 20-30 year horizon?
Q: In an earlier response you listed small caps that you liked. Are they in the order you would purchase (and do you always put responses to questions in the order you prefer)? Feb 2 21 5i I am interested in dedicating a portion of my portfolio to small & micro cap Canadian compagnies. What would be your top 10 recommendation as of today? 5I RESEARCH ANSWER: PHO, MCR, QST, WELL, XBC, STC, SYZ, KRR, CTS, AT,
Q: Can I have your analysis of this med tech - looks like they are now profitable
and growing. Any insight on TAM and the outlook for growth appreciated.
Q: Currently looking at these two. Both appear to me, to have great potential for growth. Which in your view, has the largest up size. I realize they're in separate growing industries. Are both investable for the long term?
Q: I have decided to exit all large cap stocks and move down the market cap range.

Q: Peter, Thanks to you and your team for excellent service. I took a large position in SCR when it was trading at 75 cents and sold half when it doubled a few weeks later. Now that my remaining shares are up 440%, I'm starting to wonder about potential price targets and whether to trim more here. With the forthcoming US listing and share consolidation, I'm inclined to hold on. I would appreciate any thoughts on the prospects of the company and the esports sector going forward, when you bracket out all the current hype. I didn't really think of it as a long position at the time, but bought a basket of esports stocks like BRAG and EGLX that have all done well.
Q: Hi Peter,
Greenlane updated the corp presentation on their website & may have dropped a hint into Q4 results.
It notes that $5.7M cash at the end of Q3 and $16.4M cash on Dec 31. I know $4.5M was the exercise of options announced on Dec 2nd. Where did the other $6.2M come from? Operations maybe?? Assuming they didn't rob a bank, how much revenue growth can we expect in Q4 to generate $6.2M cash from operations since they only booked $6.5M revenues in Q3?
Q: After reading some of your cautionary comments on Score, I recently sold my position (at a nice gain) at around $1.75. So, did I make a huge mistake or do you think that I will get another chance at a lower price or should I buy back in at these levels?
Q: With Next finally securing $29.5M financing for their graphite mine in Madagascar, what are your thoughts on the company, the deal and your outlook on graphite? Would you invest some of your speculative fun money into this company?
