Q: Hi Peter and Team,
Artek Exploration experienced unusually high volume today (4mm+ shares). I have been in and out of this stock as a somewhat levered play to increased natural gas prices. I also like the fact that they are somewhat of a "sidecar" to Kelt (KEL) on some of their plays. Do you see the current price (3.60ish/sh) as a fair price to add to my position or would you wait for a pullback? Any idea on why the high volume today and is that cause for concern/optimism?
Also, if you could briefly compare/contrast to Crew Energy (CR), as i'm also considering dipping my toe back into that one.
Many thanks, Peter & Team. Truly, you guys are the best!
Q: Hi Peter, thanks for the advise on WFT, At the time I did not have any forestry stocks and since i bought it it is moving nicely.
I do not have any oil and gas stocks. if you were going to buy only one stock what would it be. Dividend is nice but not necessary, and i would like one company that may be able to take advantage of a decreasing Canadian Dollar. My risk profile is medium to high
Q: Hi Peter, what's your current opinion on ECA and whether to continue to hold or swap for another energy name (5% position and already holding BEP). Thank you.
Q: CPG shares have been flat for a long time, and I am thinking of selling. However if you see any upside in the immediate future, please advise and I will hold them.
Regardless, please recommend some solid growth stock(s).
Gear energy (GXE) just provided an operational update that is quite positive. It is still quite small and focused on heavy oil but could i get your opinion on this one?
Q: Hi 5i!
Regarding Surge Energy (SGY)
I have read back through several months of questions before going to the research function of my on-line broker. I, too, am considering the switch from CPG to SGY - based on your answers regarding SGY. My question is this: looking at the financials, SGY numbers do not seem particularly positive - and this seems to my untrained eye to apply particularly to Cash Flow. Without 250mm + from financing it would seem they would be in a very negative position. (Looking at past 9 months ending Sept. 30/13). I know for many businesses Cash Flow or FFO are almost as important as the larger Balance Sheet issues, but I am perceiving - perhaps very incorrectly - significant weakness in those numbers from SGY. Can you help me out here because I am likely missing a great deal.
Thanks!!
Cheers,
Mike
Q: BTE
Why is it that the oil price is going up by over a dollar, the exchange is up 70 pts.,gasoline inventories are down and the price of baytex is falling?
Q: A big thank you Peter, to you and your team, for excellent advice since I purchased my membership last year. I have just renewed and look forward to continuing valuable advice going forward. Could I please have your current, updated opinion on Mullen Group - MTL? Many thanks!
Q: Hello Peter et al, Would you give me your opinion on the latest financial move for raising capital just announced by Niko (nko) especially in regard to the affect it will have on its share price and future? Thanks
Q: I know you like both Bellatrix and Surge, would you choose one over the other, or rather an equal position in both. Thanks for your excellent guidance, Jerry.
Q: Could I get your opinion of BNG (Bengal Energy) seems like a good light oil play they have in Australia, with unexplored property in India. What is your opinion of moving oil and gas investments away from NA, seems to many transportation, environmental and 1st nation issues here.
