Q: CBOE on the nasdaq. To me CBOE has a high P/E, however ROE is very high as well. Is this company expensive. Do they have good growth prospects and do you see any looming risks out their for the company, that one should know about.

Q: Do you see any further capital gains in FSZ, Scotiabank has a 12 month target at the current price, perhaps another stock in either of the portfolios has more potential.

Q: Hi, I hold Bank of America (BAC) and Morgan Stanley (MS). Since MS has done so much better than BAC, I am thinking of selling BAC and buying MS.PR A. Your thoughts? And thanks for this fantastic bank of advice--my daily treat!

Q: I recently received some money and I want to closely mimic your income portfolio in a taxable account.I was thinking of taking some of the weighting of the financials and buying FTN.I realize there is some added risk but it suits my investment style and I like the US exposure to banks.The dividend is also attractive I must admit.From your past comments you are not really excited about it.Also the bond portion of the portfolio are you still happy with the 7% weightings.

Q: BK and DFN both pays around 10% dividends. Are they safe to buy for income? Also is HFR a good place to park cash and does it fluctuate much with interest rates? Thank you very much for your opinion.

Q: Re your answer to today's question about GCG (Guardian Capital). According to Scotia Capital, they sold 65,000 BMO shares which was only 1.4 % of their estimated BMO holdings. This contributed only 1 cent of the 35 cents reported.
