Q: Hi Peter & Team :
Enbridge Income Fund ENF had bounced from about $22.50 to $23.76 in the last 5 days. I intend to take a full position for income for the long term and wonder why it has popped up so much. I also own PPL TRP and BTE. Is there any company specific reason other than market buoyancy? Could I reasonably expect a pullback below $23 in the next few days or should I just go ahead and buy now?
Many thanks......... Paul

Q: Hi Peter & 5i: Regarding Just Energy’s (JE) “sale” of Terra Grain Fuels, the debt reduction aspect looks positive, though only a relatively small percentage of JE’s total debt. Can you tell though what JE will be losing in cash flow or EBITDA associated with Terra’s operations? Does a loss of cash flow offset the debt reduction in this case or was Terra not significantly cash flow positive on a net basis to begin with? Does this transaction impact JE's "embedded margin" valuation on the balance sheet at all? What is your overall significance assessment? Thanks very much!

Q: TA.pr.D
I read your recent comment on TA common shares, but does the same opinion apply to their reset prefs, this one trading at a very attractive price and yield. More broadly, so many rate reset prefs are off, in particular the past 2 weeks. While part of an income portfolio (the lower current costs seemingly protecting against rate increases), are they possibly still a bit of a value trap, even at these reduced prices? Thank-you as always...

Q: Good morning.

I own shares in Brookfield Asset Management (rated Pdf2 low) and Brookfield Renewable Energy (rated Pdf3 high) perpetual preferred shares (BAM.PF.C & BRF.PR.F). These shares are trading at deeper discounts than other company preferred shares with the same ratings.

May I have your opinion regarding the Brookfield and the Brookfield Renewable credit ratings and can you think of any reason why the subject shares trade at a deeper discount to the others?

Many thanks in advance for your consideration and time.
