Q: Hello 5i team,
How do you explain the steady drop in share value despite a good quarterly report and a good order backlog that would suggest a good next quarter?

Q: Hi 5i,
I noticed on my statements this year that BIP.UN charges me a fee with each quarterly distribution. I suspect this must have something to do with the limited partnership structure but am puzzled why I would receive a distribution and get charged a fee simultaneously. As an investor who tries to minimize fees, your input is much appreciated.

Q: Good afternoon....I was wondering what your thoughts on COS (CDN Oil Sands) with a dividend of 6.5%...basically form Income perspective as I would not anticipate much growth...based on the current volatility in the oil markets...would you say the dividend is safe? looking at longer term hold 3 to 5 years..

Saw your comment a few days ago. I am seriously considering a position in Linamar because I believe the auto industry has a bright future in the next couple of years and I feel Magna is a little pricey at it's current levels which leaves Linamar as an alternative for getting involved.

I think I know the answer to your opinion re: my comment on a the bright future. Do you think my comment on Magna is accurate? And with keeping in mind the Sept market blues (as usual) we are seeing right now, would your advice be to buy Linamar now, wait and see or not buy?

Stock is up today 1.52%

Financials represent only 8.2% of my RRIF portfolio; they comprise BNS, EFN, HCG and TD. To gain some exposure to lifecos, I think of adding SLF.

I hold HCG ($43) in my RRSP for growth and have been watching it's slow decline the past week.
Is this interest rate related or manipulation in anticipation of earnings. Would you add at a lower level?

The 3rd Quarter results Com Dev shows the declined revenue affected by US gov budget. The good messages from the report are the improved commercial revenue as well as the increased revenue stream from extracEarth.
