Q: Would you consider today's price a very good entry point? I understand there may be some uncertainty surrounding the intended use of funds from the US asset sale but that seems way over done? Also, someone on BNN mentioned that it would likely soon not be considered a "REIT" by definition based on it's income mix and therefore, was being dumped by REIT focused funds regardless of fundamentals. If this is the case, I would think that stock price here is an excellent buying opportunity or is it going even lower? Your thoughts/comments are appreciated

Q: I have had quite a nice return with Enghouse but how does one decide when its time to lighten up or dispose of a position completely? It still only represents a 5% position of my portfolio but I feel that it must now be fully valued if not overvalued. Notwithstanding its attractive fundamentals (no debt, high growth rate, dividend increases) given its high P/E I'm thinking that there will be little upside over the next 12 -18 months with the possibility of a significant drop if there is a market correction. Your thoughts would be appreciated.
Q: The BMO shares are down over $1.00 at the moment, far more than the other banks. Yet BMO raised their dividend and the results for the quarter slightly beat expectations. Why the drop in value?
Q: Could I have your views on QST's first quarter earnings. The price of oil seems to hang over the results but they still seem decent considering this. Any thoughts you have are appreciated.

Q: Mr. Hodson, this stock gets a rather low rating from analysts.
For example, at TD WebBroker, the ratings are Under Perform (2), Hold (5), Buy (1) and Strong Buy (0).
At RBC Direct Investing, the Consensus Recommendation provided by Thomson Reuters is 3.13 (on a scale of 5 to 1, 5 being a Strong Sell). How could analysts have it so wrong, when the stock is clearly a strong performer for quite some time ?
The matter is entirely different when it comes to AYA (Amaya), and presumably rightly so. Amaya is much appreciated by analysts. Why the difference of treatment ?
CSU is a good stock, but is not much appreciated by analysts, while AYA is the darling of analysts. Is this a game for analysts ? Of course AYA has been a star recently, but CSU is clearly a good value stock. Maybe AYA is reaching for the stars, while CSU is only an outstanding performer...

Q: What is your take on IM's problem?
Q: Hi,
In your opinion, is the MMT deal going to go through? The share price doesn't seem to be moving very fast and the buying price is reported to be .80 cents/share. I am debating to buy more so I can minimize my losses.
Thanks

Q: The recent IPO for Crescent Point Energy has not sold out. The new issue was offered at $28.50 but it has been trading well below that, dropping briefly to 27.85 in intra-day trading this morning. What happens if the price remains depressed and the IPO is not successful? Will CPG re-issue the IPO at an even lower price?
Q: Having looked at the US government spending it appears that medicare, medicaid and social security are rising at a double digit pace making a balanced budget impossible. Makes sense given the baby boomer impact. But my question is, do you take this into account when assessing investment risks or do you file it away for tomorrow's worries.
Q: What are your thoughts on QLD. Seems to be a steady performer

Q: Hello Can i have your opinion on trillium.Thank you
Q: I have this as some portfolio diversification as a build up your portfolios. They are both ~ 2% of my portfolio. Should I take some profit, stand pat, or add these to my overall asset mix.
I don't have much international or Euro stocks except for international players from 5I.
Or switch to another product such as Vanguard or Ishares.
Cheers.

Q: I know you explained this in the past but I can't remember how I can access the growth portfolio. When I click "portfolios" it does not appear.
Q: Could you please comment on Descarte's earnings release issue this morning? Thank for your incredible service. Peter
Q: Hello Peter;
I need your help rebalancing my portfolio. Using your suggested Sector weightings, I am far too high in Financials (25% v 10%) and too low in Resources (5% v 10%), Industrials ( 10% v 20%) and Utilities (0% v 5%).
In Financials, I own Bank of America (BAC); Wells Fargo (WFC); First Service (FSV); Home Capital (HCG); Brookfield Asset Man (BAM); Currency Exchange (CXI); and VISA (V).
In Resources, I own Keyera (KEY) and Inter Pipe (IPL).
In Industrials, I own Boyd (BYD.UN); CCL Ind (CCL.B); and Exco Tech (XTC).
I own no Utilities.
I am OK with my holdings and percentages in all other Sectors which are mostly mid-caps from your balanced portfolio. In your deliberations, please assume equal $ amounts in each position. Also assume a 3-5 year hold and that I am fine with moderate risk.
It looks as if I need to sell 3 Financials and with the proceeds, buy 2 Resource, 2 Industrials and 1 Utility!
I look forward to your thoughts and recommendations.
Michael
