Q: Hi team:
I am aware that this is no longer in the portfolio as recommended
I bought it in the low 30s
It has taken a small rise recently in the last month, is it related to the oil price ? is the dividend still safe ? It would take alot of courage to add more at this point as I have lost some capital, thanks

Q: What is going on with this stock to-day? It is going down a fair bit-insider selling maybe?

Q: I am looking at buying all of the stocks in your Growth Portfolio. We will use all of our funds in our TFSA accounts (around $100K) as well as around $200K in one registered account. Overall we will target your suggested allocation %'s. If we buy all of the stocks pro-rata across the 3 accounts it will result in some pretty small holdings in the TFSA accounts. I was thinking that if we were to hold the IWO allocation entirely in the registered account - and none in the TFSA accounts it would free up funds to allocate to the individual stocks in the TFSA's (and would mean lower holdings of the individual stocks in the registered account). Is this a reasonable approach - I think it means risk and reward potential is higher in the TFSA accounts without the IWO allocation. Any other suggestions or should I just stick with a pro-rata allocation (including IWO) across all of the accounts. Many thanks

Can you please provide some insights about Tucows which is one of the companies included in the 5i Growth Portfolio. I find very little coverage about the company even though it has been listed for quite many years. Do you consider this a value or growth play? What aspects of the business do you find attractive? What is your expected returns over the next 12 months? Thank you.

Q: Could I have your opinion on investing in FNM.UN as opposed to buying a REIT ETF or a few, individual REITs. The fund has a good yield, has been around for just over 2 years and is presently at a 6% discount to NAV. How would it compare to something like CAR.UN or Boardwalk?

Q: What would be your thoughts on Thomson-Reuters as they have fallen back some recently. Good dividend source. Do you feel the dividend has room to increase?

Q: Peter , with the drop in oil price would PNE be a good buy now and what is your view on this company now .

Q: Could you please give me your opinion on painted pony? I am down over 40% on this one and I hold it in a non registered account. I would want you to keep in mind your risk/reward view; as of today. Would you prefer taking a tax loss and switching either to one of your preferred names in the sector or to something in your growth / balanced portfolio? As always, your opinion is highly valued.

Would you consider Fairfax Financial Holdings a good buy at today's price? I has been down in recent weeks. Would it be better to wait a bit longer in case the downward trend continues? The company reports on April 30th.

Q: Hi Peter and team. I'm planning in selling Husky in my non registered account and transfer funds to by 2 stocks in my TFSA. Im looking for good solid companies that are regularly growing their dividends. I currently own in my TFSA, CSU, BAD, ACQ, CCL.B, HCG, STN.
In my non registered, I currently hold BCE, ENB, ESL, HSE, MG, MFC, PPL, POW, RY, SLF, T, TD

Q: Would TPHX be a worth while purchase.Is there a chance for fast growth. Eddie.

Q: There seems to be a lot of interest in this company from subscribers and I suspect this company has a lot of coverage by institutions and professional investors. My question is, if that is the case, is this a company that retail investors should invest in? What edge can they have? It seems to me that one would only want to invest in small or micro cap companies if one stood a good chance of making outsized gains. That typically means buying these companies before they get noticed.

Q: Your thoughts on results, and does their future pipeline make not meeting expectations look like a trend?

Q: Great quarter again, Same store sales up 9.1% for the quarter, would you recommend adding here since the shares has pullback from 52 week high, I dont think theres a restaurant stock in canada with such growth, thanks!!

Q: It would seem that A&W had a great quarter. Would you still put it behind Boston Pizza?

Secondly, it would appear that their results were released around noon. Isn't information like this always released when the markets are closed?
