Q: Re WesternOne Equity (WEQ.un), on September 24 you said "Debt is manageable, but be cautious if they do a major deal." Today they seem to have announced what looks like a major deal.

Thoughts on the likely impacts of the deal?

Q: Peter, gold seems to have fallen of its own cliff of late. I know you have suggested Goldcorp as a good stock to consider but do you have any thoughts on ZJG, BMO's junior gold ETF. Q: Finavera Wind Energy (FVR)
About 40 million shares, just agreed to sell their wind projects for 40 million and the share price has dropped to around 30 cents.
I find this curious and would appreciate help understanding.

I'm guessing an outright sale of the company would have been preferred as now shareholders are concerned what may happen with the $40 million?

Q: Mart Resources (MMT). Despite a recent pullback in this stock but with Globe and Mail 5 Star rating and a 13% yield is there anything not to like about this stock? Or is the market cap too small to attract your attention?

Q: What do you think of Savanna Energy Services (SVY)? The company instituted a generous dividend in March and the stock trades at less than tangible book with a current ratio over two times. At under twelve times forward earnings, fourt times cash flow and a good growth rate it looks like a bargain. Or am I missing something?
