Q: Hi Team,
I currently own some PHM and would like to add another stock in the Health Care space. I have a reasonable appetite for risk and look for growth over income. Could you please help me decide between CRH and VRX for, say, a two year hold?
Thank you,
John

Q: Hello team -
I have a 2.3% weighting in Badger Daylighting. Lately I am hearing some of negativity towards this company - about their business not being "patentable" and "increasing competition". I know BAD manufactures their own trucks at apparently a lower cost than others in this space. Aside from this, what is going to keep this 900lb gorilla ahead of the competition? Scale? Better management team?
Will expansion into the U.S. open themselves up to even more competition? What are your thoughts on this business and their possible strategy going forward?

Q: Hello: I saw a web link which provided a convincing analysis of the risk of holding 1 stock vs the index. I think it would make an interesting addition to your "Weekly web sites collection"

Q: Hello. I presently hold a fairly diversified range of stocks, most of which would be viewed as blue chip companies. However I'm concerned that I may be overweight in the pipeline/utility sector, where I have Key, ALA, TRP, IPL and PPL. In combination these would represent about 19% of my portfolio. Do you think I'm overweight in this sector, and if so, can you suggest which stock or stocks I should sell.
Thanks for the help.
Brian

Q: I bought NFI below $6, and now the dividend is below 4%. At some point I have to reap my capital gain and move on. How much more upside do you see in this stock over the next year or so?
Q: Considering all the death crosses in their chart, it looks like Biosyent is in a condition where the technical indicators will rule the fundamentals for a bit. I bought it at the top end in an RRSP and TFSA (3%)so is it worth holding. Was the stock just stretched out too far in Q1 or are there some fundamental concerns? I don't have any issue holding on for a couple of quarters or buying a bit more when it bottoms if there are no serious fundamental concerns.
Q: Morning ... I have a few stocks in the Model Portfolio that are pushing their allocation up somewhat. Just to clarify ...will 5i be advising when to balance Portfolio or am I supposed to be doing this every 6 months ?? 3 months?? Its a wonderful predicament to be in. TY.
Q: Hello. Right now who is the best beacause dan dollars are down compare to us dollars but i think there is more upside than down side for the cdn dollars. I know you prefer not edge but if the cdn dollars go higher its not better to have edge etf. Yhanks a lot. I am sure you will see i am a begginner in stock market.
Q: WEF is on the move. Is it a good growth opportunity with latest earnings and forest product cycle due to US housing etc. Would it be a good addition to portfolio (5%)?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Q: With the latest move up and slight give back on price do you think this is still a good entry point or would you suggest to wait. I would like to take a small position at some point.
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Hello. Is it a good place to place some money may be with less risk then just 3 or 4 stoks. Or do you have another choice for me Thank you
Q: Hi Peter. I'd like to add a couple of banks to my portfolio. I'm leaning toward NA and either BMO or BNS. Of the various Canadian banks what would you recommend for my two picks ?
Q: Would you view the latest dip as a good buying opportunity? Given some positives, dividend, etc is there still a growth potential? I'm looking at purchasing 5% on dips.
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Hi Peter,
Are you still happy holding this stock. Do you see these levels as a buying opportunity.
