I understand this very small cap company is essentially debt free, has money in the bank and has been growing sales quite rapidly. I would much appreciate your opinion on it.

Q: Hi:
I bought HCG at around $ 52 recently, I understand that a group of people South of the border were shorting the stock, HCG fell from near $ 60 to the level where I bought it,
I am planning to hold it for at least 2 years to get the dividend
and hopefully enjoy abit of capital gain, do you think I should add more HCG at this stage ? Would it be a reasonable move?

Q: MEQ, the owner/manager of apartments houses in western Canada, has hardly budged in this ongoing sector rotation out of dividend paying stocks. Well, it doesn't pay a dividend! Is MEQ like a canary whose ongoing health indicates there's nothing fundamentally wrong with real estate? What does this imply for real estate stock investment in coming months? Thank you.

Q: When looking at buying an individual stock, how much weight should be given to the P/E ratio? I read suggestions to look for stocks in the 10-15 range (like the Canadian banks), yet I also see Strong Buy recommendations for stocks with ratios well above this range e.g., Enbridge. I realize P/E is 'just one metric', but I'd to understand it's level of importance when evaluating a stock for possible purchase. Thanks in advance for your response.

Q: Hello,
I'm interested in some small to mid cap clean tech names-- Amtech Systems, Intermolecular, Ecotality, Kandi Technologies, Real Goods Solar. I own Ecotality, but others are on a watchlist. Do you follow any of these names? If so, what are your thoughts? Or, do you recommend looking into some other names within this space? Looking for a Timminco part deux :)

Q: I wonder if you can comment on nickel and copper prices going forward as they apply to Sherritt and First Quantum. The nickel story seems to be a glut from big mine start-ups whereas the copper story seems to be mostly China. How will metal prices affect these companies in the near to mid -term (6-18 months)?
