Q: Hello 5i team,
Please help with my education.
I have read "The Company (TOU) has 327.6 mmcfpd of natural gas production hedged at a price of $4.38/mcf during the first quarter of 2015."
Today NG is at $2.94. Can you explain TOU's hedging on this commodity, why $4.38 and what it means (or what they think will happen) moving forward? Hope I asked the correct question.
Thanks for all you do
Gord

Q: SGY Paul Colborne has stepped down as Chairman, however remains as CEO. Dividend cut by 50%. How secure is their reserve credit line?
PETER, You know the management of this Co personally. What is your current judgement?
ARX New issue as a Bought Deal. Current price is now down approx. 33% to 22.5 from 33.68. Does this represent a buy or a sell after the rebound in O. Thank you - Bob.

Q: Thanks for the great service...I hold a small percentage of my portfolio in energy but these two are both down in the 70% range...should I move out of these on one of these rallies or do you think these companies will survive this rout in energy names...
Q: In replying today to Paul's question about chartwell versus leisureworld, you refer to them both as REITs. The TMX website's sector description for chs.un is REITs and for LW it is healthcare. I was considering LW for exposure to the healthcare sector, but don't want to load up on more REITs. Any thoughts?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Q: Do you have any thoughts about the management changes at Surge? Good or bad? Will the direction of the company be the same? Any ideas of possible take overs in sight?
Keep up the great service

Q: In light of the dividend cut by Surge Energy (SGY), how likely do you think it is that CPG might follow suit?
Q: I read in the news that EXFO, an opto-electronics instrumentation company in Quebec City, wants to buy itself back (translating from the Journal LesAffaires). It says that the stock is jumping. Can you explain to me why it is that the stock jumps in that case? Why wouldn't the company buy my shares back close to the current price? I bought my shares around 4.80 so I've been 15% under water for the last while.

Q: Hello Peter,
I have read your responses to the questions relating to the two companies and appreciate the detailed responses. I have done very well with both and now am wondering if it is worth adding to my positions or should i wait. BAM represents 5 % of weight and BIP represents 3 %. I know it is in a different industry but I was thinking of reducing CGI group which has 6% weight to 4% and adding the proceeds to BAM or BIP. I have more in BAM as it is more diversified. Rather than adding more stocks, i just want let my winners run and add to them. Thanks again for your unbiased advice.

Q: Hi Peter, I have very little oil and gas exposure in my portfolio other than thru etf's. What stocks can you recommend I can buy at this point for king term growth (10 years) and dividend income? Thank you
Q: Hi team, I noticed some of the pipelines are getting caught in a downdraft to add to the pain of my oil company holding. However I was thinking of buying a few pipelines like VSN and IPL in my TFSA, but before I do I wanted you opinion on the relatively new midstream ETF: HOG.Is this ETF too small at this point to buy a position, or should I just go back to buying individual names like VSN and IPL. Thanks as always, you are a great team.
Q: I constantly keep approx. 150k in cash equal to 3-4 years of withdrawals (1.25% interest) to fund annual cash requirements in addition to gov't pensions. Would you recommend buying VSC to raise my interest received to (currently) 2%?
Thanks to All
