Q: What is the best way to get US exposure in a TFSA or RESP?

I was thinking of using VUS (vanguard) but don't know if a CAD hedged ETF is the best method for this. The MER is low at 0.17%.

Q: I have no REIT exposure in my daughters RESP. Was considering adding a REIT ETF such as ZRE or VRE. I like ZRE as each holding is capped at 5%, but the MER is higher than VRE.

Any suggestions?

Q: HR.un With HR trading close to a 52 week low and today's management announcement ( taking it in house)
does all of this make HR a buy, or would any positives be more than offset by interest rate concerns?
I had bought this at a higher price and am considering averaging down.

Q: another question on FCR. i am trying to figure out why their net income (attributble) fell from 122 m to 73 m. in their financial report they explain the reason as "due to 65.5 million in lower increase in value of investment properties". can you briefly explain what that means?

Q: Genworth MIC Stock is at 28.52. The jan 2014 16 puts are at 1.10 to 1.30. Do you have any idea why they are so expensive?

Q: Hello 5I Team

My question regards Agrium there is a small quarter position in an account for a retired family member. Currently the position is still up 6%. We have had the dividend go through. Reading through analyst reports and Agrium's business model we understand Potash to be an input cost. Overall AGU is trading at approx 9 times earnings.

While the position is small should we still take what profit we ca? Sit things out until global prices settle and then decide if we want to get back in?
