Q: Good morning. I would appreciate your opinion on Shaw (SJR.B). I do not expect a lot of growth but I would consider it a long term investment for income. Thank you for a very useful forum.

Q: Hi Guys
I know this question is a little off topic, but i was wondering if you had read Kyle Basses(Hayman Capital)latest paper "The Central Bankers Potemkin Village".
Hopefully this time he has gotten it all wrong! LOL
I would appreciate any insight from your perspective
Thank's Gord

Q: MMP.UN
The manager is a great stock picker in the gold space and from what I can see they have never discontinued payments. If you lay the 5 year weekly of the HUI over MMP.UN they are very similar. It looks like an interesting way to play a rise in gold shares, with a huge yield (currently 17%). Current NAV is $6.18 - units are trading for about $7.00. With tax loss selling in full swing in the gold space - would you recommend this one for investors interested in gold + yield?
Thanks so much for your time!

Q: Chartwell Seniors Housing (CSH) has had its rating changed to a sell. Am I missing something here Peter. (signed a nervous PSN holder)
Q: Hi Peter and 5i team
What do you think of Jovian Capital (JOV). They are issuing a $3.00 special dividend and you have to hold until after the settlement date (Dec 14) to get it. What do you think will happen to the share price after the settlement?
Thanks
Ross

Q: My wife 'had' 10,000 shares of Catalyst Paper Corp. [which was CTL, but recently became CTLFQ:PNK] which she had in her RRSP account with Qtrade, a discount broker for 2 1/2 years. On Nov 26, 2012, these shares, which cost, originally, $3,200.00, were removed from her RRSP without consideration. Is this legal?
Q: Peter,
Do you think PSN is oversold at these levels? Could there be a bounce to 5 in the near term?

Q: Hi Peter,
Can you please recommend a stock that will benefit from a rise in natural gas prices? if there is any at a good valuation currently.
Tourmaline Oil (TOU) or Painted Pony (PPY) perhaps?

Q: Titan Logix (TSXV: TLA) just reported fiscal 2012 results with significant revenue growth and earnings: $0.14 EPS. The Company also has a very strong balance sheet with plenty of cash and no debt. Management's outlook for 2013 was "cautiously optimistic" but the stock traded down to less than 5 times earnings. Am I missing somthing?
Q: RUF.U Pure Multi Family REIT LP focuses exclusively on US real estate. With that market appearing to recover, and a 7% yield at current prices would this be a good holding? The principals of this company have an excellent track record with WEQ.un and AAR.un.
As usual, thanks for your guidance.

Q: Re PM, Prism Medical, GlobeinvestorGold shows the last dividend as being paid July 20, 2012 and has no mention of another to date. Just an oversight or what? Thank you
Q: PSN - what do you make of the class action law suit? What does mean to the share price long term? Thanks

Q: An Update please on your opinion of Cominar REIT (CUF.UN).
Thanks!
Thanks!
Q: What do you think of Cascades? It carries a decent dividend of 3.8% but I'm not sure where in the economic cycle that sales and revenues might increase.
Q: Hi Peter - your opinion on PIX? Valuation is cheap relative to much larger peers on an EV/EBITDA basis. Nice steady growth, diversified customer base and a high percentage of recurring revenue. Plus the data centre space has seen a lot of M&A activity at high multiples over last few years.
Q: do you think that[BDI] black diamond group, and [SJ] stella jones, could be good long term investments, eg.3 to 5 years, thanks.
