Q: Hi Guys ,
I've noticed quite a drop off in A&W Restaurants - aw.un this week .
Just wondered if this was due to the recent market malaise or if there is something else going on in the company
Would this be a good time to add to a position . Cheers Keep up the good work !!

Q: In your model portfolio, I see that there is only one "real estate" holding (FSV). In this sector, I own two REITs in my RRSP and realize that my weighting is way out of whack: (14% in REF.UN and 12% in REI.UN.) I am gradually attempting to diversify my holdings, using stocks that you have chosen in the model portfolio, and would like to know which of my two REITs to keep (or if neither or if both) and what percentage REITs should be in a portfolio. I have done very well with both of these REITs, especially REF.UN, but it's a bit painful to see these two stocks dropping daily. Thanks for the great service you provide.

Q: Do you have an updated opinion on AFN? I am holding a large position and have had a 10% gain since buying only a couple of months ago. Can we expect continued volatility and is the dividend sustainable? I'm wondering if I should trim my position and take the gains or keep for the dividend. Q: Hi Peter I'd like to get your opinion on Seadrill. SDRL recently raised its dividend to yield 9%, has a PE of 17.6 and a PEG ratio of .44. An order backlog of 2.9 billion for 2013 and 4.5 billion for 2014. Though I do wonder about financing for their new builds.
Your thoughts on the company and industry ?

Could you please comment on whether it is better to hold XIT - S&P/TSX Capped Information Technology Index Fund
or just try to cherry pick among the 7 holdings(GIB.A,BB,OTC,MDA,CSU,CLS,WIN) there seems to be a good representation of 5i selections while the others seem to be

Q: With the recent bloodbath in the REIT sector, I've sold a handful of REIT holdings in our various portfolios. But have held on to the following despite the steep price declines: BTB, CSH, CUF, RMM and HLP. Do you see further declines with any of these? Are they likely to be fine in the long run? Our portfolios are reasonably diversified. Thanks.

Q: Hello Peter,
Do you have any advise on CTG (Global Minerals)? Recent drilling results on their silver/copper project in Slovakia appear to be quite encouraging. The infrastructure is there, initial capex is quite attractive, with production, I believe, to begin in for 2014. What do you think? Thanks for your continued invaluable insights.

Q: Hey peter although resource has been in the dumps how do you feel about iona energy still.. will the summer and increasing european prices of brent and natural gas in addition to cash Flow increases as a catalyst move the share price.. beyond its resistence levels found at .65 within 6 months.
