Q: Do you have an update on Bird Construction (BDT). It seems to be sliding a little every day. Is this just Feb. in the construction industry or is their backlog going down to fast

Q: Should one be interested in buying National Oilwell Varco (NOV), a US stock at 69$, would you be able to confirm it is something solid and worthwhile ? (Standard&Poor gives it a 5-star rating and a 12-month target price of 95$)Diversification with a good US stock is normally OK, but do you see better fishing in Canada ?

Q: HNZ.A We have held for over 6 six years and this company is by far our best performer when I adj. cost base for reinvested dividends-AC is $5.60 -600% return so far. Lost 2 contracts -got killed. Very few co. have the super metrics of this company-no coverage-is this because they don't issue stock & thus no business for banks?? I am thinking of buying more as still a very small position in my portfolio.

Q: Hi Peter and 5i: Can you please update your comments from last May on Absolute Software (ABT) and maybe expand on the suggestion that their "space" may not be as attractive as they think it is? You indicated that they have a long term view and a definite niche but I'm wondering about whether their stock makes sense as a long term hold. Thanks.

Q: I was fortunate to recently buy Equity Trust (EQI) and thanks for your continued recommendation in the members questions. Todays announcement pushed the stock up 25%. While I like this, I am not sure how this sale will affect future financial performance and share price.
