Q: Hi:
What do you think of the news that PPY is selling all assets in Sask? I own 300 shares. Should I sell or wait to see what the future holds for PPY? Love my membership in 5i. This has been a real learning experience. Many thanks.

Q: Hi team, I held on to 100 shares of OSK, but now I have 7 AEM, 26 YRI and 10 OR due to the deal, they are in an RSP account with a less than 1% weighting in each but they are amongst 14 other dividend paying stocks with a 4-8% weighting. I also hold 80 shares of G that I was hoping would take OSK. What would you suggest. Thanks, Nick

Q: The TSE was down .28% today. Yet 25 of my 26 stocks were down, with 9 of them (CEU,SYZ,BYD,BAD,SGY,PEY,AVO,DHX,CMG) all being down between 2.3% and 4.5% on relatively heavy volume. I am not worried at all about this, but wonder if you can offer some explanation for why this would happen on one day. Thanks.

Q: Hi Peter and Team
I would like your comments and thoughts on Rogers Sugar (RSI).
I bought it for yield and has gone down 25% since I purchased it. Should I sell it and move on? If so, would you recommend a stock with reasonable yield and capital appreciation.

Q: Hi Peter and Ryan! It seems that my first try slipped your attention, so I do it again. I see that you are very reluctant in your companies' evaluation to be too enthusiastic. So far I read in this forum about one company to be great, Stantec - STN, and another one to be fabulous, Stella-Jones, SJ. Q: I would appreciate your advice concerning Superior Plus convertible debentures. I am holding series G (7.5% coupon maturing Oct 31, 2016) which have a $11.35 conversion price and can be called as of Oct 31, 2014 if 125% above the conversion price. The debentures are currently trading at $128. Given that the share price is already just above the 125% call condition, and assuming it remains there, it is safe to expect that come this October they will be called by the company? When and if this is announced would the debenture price instantly drop? I am wondering if it makes sense to sell now with the small premium before they get called by the company?

Q: Are the Chinese companies listed on the NYSE subject to the same scrutiny as all other listed companies with regards to financials? Do you think it is safe to invest in a China company today? If so there are 3 companies that look interesting that I would only invest an 1/2 position in one of the possible following unless you think I should stay away: VIPS.US, BITA.US and XRS.US
