Q: You seem to be partial to DHX which leaves me a bit confused since it does not appear to have a P/E, it's ROE <1, it's P/CR >80, and it's yield is <1%. What am I missing?

Q: Could I get your opinion on the above co.Thanks Jim
Q: Hi. I have owned this stock for many years. Did quite well with it at first and sold off enough to cover my initial investment. I still hold 500 shares and could use the money that selling them would generate to buy stocks in other sectors that I am lacking. (I seem to be over invested in the healthcare sector). My question is .... should I just sell it now and use the cash to re-balance, or wait to see what happens with the pullout from the US.
Q: Thank you for your great service. you now have the income portfolio for conservative investors Do you have some names that you would recommend for the higher risk investor. I have done well with your advice so far and would like to "gamble" with 1 or 2% of my portfolio.
Again thanks for all you and staff do.

Q: Is it time to pick up some tck.b?
I have no other commodities except 8% mid size oil/gas (wcp, cnq, etc.) Thanks Bob

Q: If a rising gold price comes to pass, like I suspect, is ASR a good play on increased leverage. If not, would you suggest a few other small- mid caps as I already have Goldcorp.
Q: Just looking at the Financial Post article of January 25, 2015 on this company-they just paid off the remaining debt and are in a free cash flow situation. I would suspect that if gold finally makes and upward move, this company would move very well with it. What do you think?
Q: Have you heard of Ardmore Shipping. They claim that oil volatility is great for their business. Oil traders are supposedly storing oil in ocean tankers in hopes of selling it at a higher price later. This is putting pressure on availability of tankers and thus prices are going up. Would you consider this stock a buy?
Q: James asked on the 3rd about TD dividend not being paid as he expected. For my RBC Dominion account it came through on the morning of the 2nd. Please share with him (if you wish) as maybe there is another issue related to his account.
Q: Hello, my question is about Westernone. I hold this company in a LIF account and am thinking of transferring it at the current low valuation to avoid paying higher taxes later in the event it recovers (hopefully). I planned to withdraw from this account later in the year anyway. What do you think of the idea and if the idea is sound should it be transferred into a cash account or my TFSA.
Thanks so much for the guidance.
Brian

Q: For dividend income with some growth, which of these two, ALA, AFN, would you prefer, and why? Also, I note that in your growth portfolio you list WCP, Whitecap as having 0 dividend. I checked with TMX stock quotes and they indicate that it has about 6% dividend.
Q: I started contributing to a TFSA in 2012 and have contributed the maximum since then. Can I make contributions for the years I missed ?
Q: Hi 5i Team!
I'm looking for some information on Cipher Pharma. Specifically these metrics:
1. Net Margin %, 2. Return on assets %, 3. financial leverage, 4. Return on equity %, 5. P/E multiple.
Also if you can give me any other thoughts and information on the stock that you may see as relevant.
Thank you, Shane

Q: I follow and am invested in the Cdn Moneysaver ETF portfolio. I just read the February update in the magazine on this portfolio and wondered why you did not top up XEG back to the 10,000 level of the original investment and possibly sell some that had gone up like XIU and SPY. Wouldn't it be good to top up on XEG now that is down? Thanks for all your help.
Q: I read in one of your answers that Enbridge should be classed as a Utility for sector classification and I am wondering if TRP would be considered a Utility as well.
Q: The sector still looks volatile, but with some recent gains on these target buys (RE,WCP,RMP and RRX)it's tempting to jump in. You've mentioned that there is still no true signs of recovery in the sector (Jan 28), what exactly should I be looking for as a true sign of recovery?
Q: Thank you very much for the excellent webinar yesterday. It was very informative. If 5i had to pick just one dividend payer based on yesterday's webinar which one would it be & why.
Thank you.

Q: Hi 5i
Down 50 to 75 % on these guys. They were less than 10% now around 6% of portfolio. I held on thinking they might recover more than any other place I could put the money. Your opinion please buy , sell, or hold.
I did just buy some Vermillion in the sector.
Tks Stan
