Q: I keep wondering if exchanging these 3 increasingly weakening positions for alternate positions with more optimistic horizons might be a more prudent move. What sage advice might your team have? As well, are you holding steady with Whitecap? I have difficulty in seeing the oil market with any upside over the next couple of years....

Q: Now with Catamaran Com being removed from my portfolio I am wondering if I should replace with with GUD or with several of the ones mentioned in the growth portfolio? I have no health care stock currently. I also have no tech stocks and wondered if this would be better than a health stock?
Thanks

Q: Can you please take a look at this company. Could you tell me what your views are based on the most recent contracts awarded and the backlog. Looking at the charts and financials this company looks less expensive than many other in the sector. If the current price looks expensive to you, could you share what metrics you would look at for selecting a purchase price. Thank you Jason N.

Q: UA recently posted earnings of $0.12 per share (down 14%)and revenues that were up 27% both on a 6 month basis. Guidance is that revenues for this year (2015) should grow 25% and operating income 14-15%. Last year earnings for the year were 0.95 so making a big assumption that EPS will grow also at 14% puts their P/E ratio at about $95/(0.95 x 1.14) ~ 88 !! Seems crazy high to me considering the stock is up over 7% today on the news. Am I looking at this right or is there some hidden value I'm not seeing? Thanks for your help as always.
Q: After a massive price decline over the past year, the projected earnings for this stock are now stable. Despite its high debt and the downturn in oil prices, it seems that several analysts rate the stock a buy. How do you rate TPH ? What would be a buy signal ?

Q: At $20 Crescent Point seems pretty beaten up. Even given the dividend and oil price risk do you view it as a pretty solid buy right now?
Q: What are your thoughts on this company and would you hold it for the longterm. Thanks
Q: Hi Peter,
What am I missing...strong insider buying, excellent Q/Q growth, strong F/X, strong margins...SP has not performed. Your thoughts would be appreciated?

Q: Hello Peter,
I know this question is an apples to orange comparison (different sectors), but I was wondering if you can shed some light. I sold my holdings in Valeant as it has done very well. I am thinking of putting the proceeds to Patient Home Monitoring and Auto Canada for long term hold. Does this make sense to you? Thanks very much.
