Q: Hi, I have been slowing adding your model portfolio to my stocks and I am somewhat concerned about Magna ( MG) and Constellation Software (CSU) seeing how they have climbed quite fast as of late. I am wondering if they are fully valued and whether or not I should wait for a pull back for these two.

We read the latest report on premium brands which sounded very good to us, stock opens 5% lower at 3 times the volume. We have a half weight position and were wondering if we should top up or take the 25% gain it has made since we bought it. Basically b/s/h?

Q: To your list of Quebec companies like FSZ possibly impacted by a PQ win you could add BCE, IAG, ATD, PJC, POW, NA, CNR, MRU, BBD and more. I don't think the separatism issue is on the media's radar in a big way yet, but if polls next week indicate a jump in support due to the star candidate's arrival, this could change fast with the feds being mute so far. My memory doesn't go back to the referendum of 20 years ago but I wonder if it wouldn't be the banks and financials hurt most as both sides have a tug of war going on the C$ as a central theme presently, and money runs scared first, asks questions later.

Would you agree or which sector is most vulnerable? Thanks, J.

can you look at TSL- Tree Island Steel 's latest results. do you like the way this story is unfolding ?
any caveats ? has management been doing their job ? overall , any red flags ? i know this is a high risk play but i'm up considerably and would like to hold. it does appear that the North American economy is picking up some steam. thanx norm

Q: In Sept. last year you answered a question regarding this company INN.UN and indicated that it was O.K. for income with no negative indicators. Orange Capital is now involved and they disagree with your point of view but have taken a 10% position with a view of bringing about changes to this poorly run company. From your experience is a position of this size a big enough club to sway managements train of thought. Orange maintains that with change the units should be worth 50% more.
