What is your thought about Avante Logixx (TSXV: XX). Yes it is very small company in the security space, but they have had a remarkable turnaround to profitability and date 36% of their revenues are recurring. They also have good balance sheet. They are like junior Alarmforce.
Q: CSS Contrans reported its best quarter ever and raised 2013 targets. Hasn't really bolted up as yet. Sold a smidgen earlier this week -- worth buying back?
Q: Could I get your opinion on selling OSF.UN (Oil Sands Fund) and replacing it with HLP.UN (Health Lease Properties). My portfolia is over 20% energy with 0% Real Estate. I only carry dividend paying stocks and these 2 have similar yield but, OSF.UN is small cap with small trading volume and moving sideways.
Thanks for the great service.

Q: About a year ago I asked about Trans Alta. You said they had enough cash to maintain their dividend for at least another year. What is your recommendation now. I am wondering if I should continue to hold or redeem my shares.
Thanks so much.

I am impressed with the simplicity of your rating system -- the A, B, Cs of investing, as it were, is a pleasure to adopt in choosing companies for investing.
I am interested in what criteria you use in order to give your ratings -- what distinguishes an A stock, for instance from a B+ or B-? I'm assuming it's a combination of P/E and debt loads and all sorts of wonderful fundamental things, but do you have a set criteria that breaks the companies into different categories?
(If that information is posted elsewhere on the site, I haven't found it, and would appreciate being pointed in that direction.)
I am very pleased I joined 5I research as it provides me with a wonderful opportunity to consider companies I never would have given a second look at, thanks to your system ratings.
Q: I am getting nervous with regards to the next reporting from EIF...I am at a loss now willing to sell...what are your thoughts? represents 5% of portfolio...thanks
Q: Even if we should not attempt to time the market, it is useful to know about a reasonable price entry point.
Will it be possible to add this information in your reports?
