Q: Hi Peter:
In my on-RRSP portfolio, I have some money in XRE and some
Reits and the Canadian banks, BCE, and the pipelines

I still have some cash to be invested and I am looking for
a steady source of income (age around 60); for this purpose
someone give me a suggestion:
1) CPD a prefer ETF
2) XDV (it generates dividends)
3) a floating rate prefer ETF (I could not find the symbol)
4) BMO covered call utilities
5) BMO covered call banks ZWB

How would you compare to the above when I put the 5 investmensts in the
ETF XTR ? (it has bonds in it)

Q: Hello 5i Team,
What are your comments on the announcement that the US Government has launched a law suit against BAC. I'm in this one for a long term hold so not too concerned about volatility as I think the price will increase in the future.

Also I should ask if you think BAC is a good long term play in the US financials or o you think others will fair better? Perhaps a US financial ETF with a small grouping?

Q: Hi Peter, can you please comment on your valuations on Cargojet (CJT). Little coverage on it still which is great. I bought it when JTF was with Sprott. I still like the company b/c of its dividends and special dividends. I view it as a great company long term b/c well its cargo of goods and services rather than an "airline" stock. I'm just wondering about the continued growth, debt levels, possible overvaluations, competitive advantage etc. Thank-you for your views.

Q: Hello. In current market conditions, From A or B rated stocks, which would you suggest to start with for new money. One is for Resp and has over 7 years till withdrawal. Other portfolio is non registered with 1-2 yr horizon. Thanks.

I know I asked you a few months about Easy Home (EH-T), but was hoping to get an update as to your views given the recent pull back. I'm thinking of investing in either EH or NFI. Which do you think has the most upside? NFI's yield appears to be more attractive, but I am looking for an opportunity with the highest capital appreciation upside. Thanks!

Q: Could I get your view on ANV (Allied Nevada), in light of it's big drop today on the negative news. The news may be negative but it seems they are on top of it and being straight forward with the situation.
