Q: Now that WEQ has reported its latest results, with a further (19%) drop in its stock price, what is your assessment going forward? I'm down 40%, though have only a small holding. Am reluctant to sell based on one quarter's results, and have it in a registered account so couldn't claim a tax loss. Thanks.

Q: With the bought deal at 8.00$ and the continual downslide of Weq -it certainly would appear that insiders knew beforehand of the bad results to be released.Does the Securities ever investigate this stuff or is anyone accountable-looks shabby
Q: Past growth has been impressive, but it now has 78% market share. Where does it go from here? With the recent weakness in CGX, is it possible that investors have woken up to how expensive this stock is when one considers the P/E and dividend yield?
Q: What do you suggest with WEQ, now that they have reported Q3? Is this big drop simply earnings-based or have they adjusted the dividend as well? I couldn't find anywhere that they are adjusting the dividend.
Q: Hi Peter
I know you have made a few comments on WEQ over the past few days, but now that the Q3 #'s are out what are your thoughts?
The quarter wasn't great, but not a complete disaster, Payout ratio for the quarter was 150% which I know is high, but for YTD only 68%...seems to be overly punished/sold here.
Thanks,

Q: When would you expect "tax loss selling season" to take place? Thanks for the great service.
Q: Hi All! I'm a bit surprised you haven't had a previous question about this co. They have a factory just down the road from you! Yesterday CSIQ had a pretty wild day, in spite of recent quarterly results which seem pretty positive to me. What am I missing? Thanks!
Q: Please update your comments on UR and whether it is a buy.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Q: Could I get your opinion on the latest results and if it is a buy after the latest pull back?
Q: These 4 telecommunication stocks represent 13% of my income portfolio: BCE (4%), MBT (2%), RCI.B (3%), T (4%).
I know you aren't a big fan of RCI.B, but I emotionally feel like I deserve to get something back from Rogers in the form of dividends since I fall out of my chair every month when I see what my household spends with them (cell phones,internet,cable..etc). Wrong approach?
Am I too overweight in this sector? Current sector weighting:
Consumer 3%
Banks 19%
Insurance 11%
Utilities 7%
Telecom 13%
Precious Metals 5%
Energy 15%
REIT 13%
Industrial 10%
XEI ETF 4%
I love this Q&A portion of your site. Thanks
Carlo
