Q: Looking for your favorite small cap oil (200-2000MM)company recommendations. Or do you think it is better to stick to bigger names? I like profitable, cheap, on the verge of paying dividends.

Q: Peter i have ZUT etf in my portfolio (BMO Utilities ETF). It seems to be a low at this stage and would seem to have already priced in the potential forthcoming increase in rates. Would it not be a time to be adding to this now?

Q: Hi Peter and 5i Team,
I was wondering if you could give an opinion on Stonegate Agricom (ST-Toronto). Would you consider it a buy for the longer term at the present level?
Thanks very much.

Q: This is further to one of your recent answers regarding BEP.UN. I was wondering if you could describe at a high level the "significant, fairly unique charges" against earnings that you referenced, and that BEP.UN experiences as a result of being a limited partnership. From the recent financials, there do not appear to be any extraordinary, one-time items - so I am assuming that these unique charges are ongoing and a routine part of the business. I do find the financials for BEP.UN to be more difficult to understand than others.
Q: hi folks, can I please ask your opinion on halcon resources hk/nyse,touched 52 wk low,is this worth a play or avoid, thx jb
Q: I had an open order to sell 200 MSFT at 33 and it traded up to 33.36 after the order was entered but the broker didn't fill the order because the high temporary "spike" price was only available to institutions, not retail. Does this sound like a plausible excuse or do I have a complaint that I should elevate? Thanks, J.
Q: Hello Peter and Team,
I’m looking at adding 3 to 4 positions in the tech and industrial sector to my portfolio this is for the long term. Been waiting for a while to buy CSU, SYZ, MG and MDA and these stocks have been doing very well what would be a reasonable entry point or should I be looking at other stocks.
Great advise on AYA, BAD, CGX, STN and THI.
Thank you, Ronald

Q: Hello what do you think of Total Energy Services-TOT, at its current price. Thanks, Bill.
Q: Any thoughts on BRE? Time to consider an exit? The share price has been holding quite well so far.
Q: Hi Team,
With a possible recovery in gold and silver bullion and stocks do you have any guidance on what percentage of an investment portfolio and of total net worth "should" be invested in this sector? Some suggest 5 or 10 percent of assets. do you agree? Thank you.

Q: I am considering buying Toronto Dominion, Royal and Nova Scotia bank shares. I am a long term investor looking for stability, security and dividend income.
Is this a good move at this time?
Thank you, Vicki Edgelow

Q: Brookfield Renewable Energy [BEP.UN] I had a 5% weighting until the price drop of the last month or so. It's now down to 4%. Would you recommend holding here or moving back up to the 5% weight through purchasing more?
Thanks,
Ron
Thanks,

Q: hi,
brookfield renewable has dropped nearly 20% from their recent highs, on the back of good earnings, and no major missteps as far as i can tell. i notice that the PE ratio is in the 70's?? that seems very high for this type of company, no? could this not trade around 20-50 PE?? and therefore some sigificant further drop???
thanks for your thoughts.

Q: Shares in WED have been threading water at .03 cents for months. Last summer they sold profitable insurance business acquired from Kingsway financial to Intact financial and distributed proceeds to shareholders. This reduced book value to .05 cents per share. Do you have a opinion or any additional information or future prospects. Thank-you

Q: Hi Peter & 5i: Thoughts on Partners REIT's recent quarterly report (PAR.UN)? The share price decline to present levels ($6.30s) has pushed the yield up to 10%. Thanks.
Q: I note that you are expecting gold stocks to start doing better. I am holding gold coins (Maple Leaf) and currently at a loss. What do you think the prospects are for improvement in the coin values.
Q: Good Afternoon Peter and Team,
I have been looking at Calian Technologies (CTY- TSX) for longer term, steady, dividend growth. At present the company appears to be somewhat growth challenged but also appears to be fairly safe and cheap. Quarterly dividends have grown at about 20% per year over the last 10 years (.04 to .28) with a $1.00 special dividend thrown in during 2010. If you were to cover this company then what, back of the napkin, rating would you
assign it ???
Thank you. DL
