Q: Hi. Pursuant to my prior question about Orca, based on the "bare bones" math it appears that Orca has a Market Cap of $70.4 MM CAD (19.8 MM shares x $3.56CAD), cash on hand of $136.8 MM CAD ($98.5 MM USD), no debt, and cash flow from (6 month) operations of $72.5 MM CAD ($52.2 MM USD), or $3.66 CAD/share. Note that all the financial data is taken from the 6 month statements up to June 30 2025. I guess my first question is whether not I am missing anything material in the "math", as these numbers indicate a negative Enterprise value. The follow up is that if this numbers are indeed correct, then this valuation must be a function of perceived political risk, given that Orca operates in Tanzania. Can you shed any insight on this, or is this outside your wheelhouse ?
Q: With the Canadian government planning to support national building projects, like the expansion of the Port of Montreal and the Port of Churchill Manitoba.
Well this benefit Algoma steel? Would you consider this stock a buy?
I've recently read about these two companies in a report regarding insider activity. Both have impressive 52-week runs. My first opinion after a quick research is that APM looks pretty good, not so much CNL.
I would like a quick expert analysis on both, an opinion if their performance can continue and perhaps better alternatives, if your analysis does not result in a buy recommendation.
