Q: When buying a company is it better to buy in only one account or purchase the stock in several accounts? I currently own SGY but in both the RRSP(2) and TFSA(2) account. Going forward with buying some stocks recommended from your portfolios just wondering if it is just better to purchase the amount up to 5-10% in one account?

Thanks
Dolores

Q: I have been watching BLD for the past couple monthes. It looks they are having a lot of progress recently with the Buss order from China, Fuel cell tram demonstration, and especially had signed contract with Ardica for the development of portable military fuel cell batteries. Do you know any more details about these activities or contracts and what do you think about this stock now (current price vs upside potential)?

Thanks,

Adam

Q: Nike, Under Armour and Performance sports have all performed amazingly well over the past 3 to 5 years. Nike (only) pays a small dividend. Is it reasonable to expect these companies to continue this growth and is the current growth coming from the new Asia/African markets?

Q: Hi Team,
just looked up the value of the warrants at $0.35. Since the stock is highly speculative, as are the warrants, wouldn't it make sense to buy warrants instead of the stock? Expiry of warrants is in thee years which can be shortened if certain conditions are met based on incremental stock price.

Q: Great service! Just a thought, I know your Coverage Summary is crowded, but it would be good to see where the company falls within your Portfolios. In other words, create a heading called Portfolio and in the company's corresponding cell, put the Portfolio name in which it resides.

Q: Hi Mr. Hodson and Team:
We keep hearing about the end of the Commodity Supercycle and China slowing down, and we keep sweating.
Maybe we ought to trim our Canadian Resource exposure.

We hold the following (post recent sell-offs):
Can. Energy Producers: 10.7%.
(Cpg 3%. Arx 3.1%. Vet 2.4%. Bte 0.6%. Eca 0.9%. Bnp 0.3%. Su 0.2%. Cnq 0.2%.)
Can. Energy storage/ Pipeline: 4.5%.
You said these are Hybrids, so would count as 2% of Energy.
Makes my Total Can. Energy = 11.7%.

Materials: 7.2%.
(Tck 1.8% + Can. Agri/Lumber 5.4% )

Can. Gold: 3.4%.
G 1.5% + CGL 1.1% + ELD 0.4% + K 0.4%.

Makes- Total Can. Resource exposure: 22.3%.
(Above Energy 11.7% + Materials 7.2% + Gold 3.4%).
Too much in a volatile, cyclical and perhaps SunSet (post-China), Sector?

Perhaps, we should trim Total Resource down to 12%?
Keeping Energy 4% + Materials/Agri/Lumber etc 8%?
What is your opinion of this trimming/ allocation/ %age?

What Percentage would you suggest? Please comment. Thanks so much. sarah.

Q: I have a full position on Corus and while it's the type of company I generally hold (high and steady income), I'm weary now that there doesn't seem any end in sight after the Q2 loss and the negative regulatory ruling on unbundling.

I know there is still time (end of 2016) before the unbundling rule takes effect and it's not the end of the world for Corus, but how safe is the dividend? If it is safe, should I adding to my position now because these the stock is now undervalued?

Q: Hello,

I am looking for member questions on "Wealthsimple". However the searchbox is limited to 10 characters even when I use the "search all text" option. I therefore cannot find the question(s) on Wealthsimple using the search function, although I recall seeing them.

Could you direct me to where I can find them?

Thanks
