I am thinking of adding NA to my dividend portfolio, I owned some already, would it be an advantage to wait until the stock has split ? (coming up in mid-Feb)

In 3-5 years horizon, would SlF and MFC be comparable to NA (held outside RRSP) ? thanks

Q: Hi,

What is your opinion on AGF? Over 9% yield and has gotten wacked recently with poor results. Looks like they could turn this around and ride the coattails of an improving market. Is it better to stay away and stick with GS, FSZ, C etc.

Q: Hello - I have been a long term holder of Power Corp(POW) for 29 years. There has be no dividend increase in many years and the share price is essentially flat.I have always appreciated the financial prudence of this group but one can only hold for so long.Is it time to bail on this stock? Joe

Q: Is this the bottom for BNS? Could well be. The 200 day MA was touched but not breached and the Fibonacci touched the 50% retracement. And, the RSI 9 just regained the 30 line (30.43) and is climbing fast today.

Q: We have positions in the major banks and are wondering why BMO fell so much recently and has not recovered as well as CM, RY, TD and BNS. It holdssubstantial US assets and I feel that the strong US dollar should be a boost for it, compared to BNS, for example.

Q: Hello 5i crew -

I've had my eye on Element Financial for awhile now. I know you consider it expensive at this point. If you cannot recommend a price entry, can you advise of a metric or two you would watch before pulling the trigger?

How much faith do you have with Mr. Hudson as CEO? He seems to have big plans. My concern is his history. The Newcourt Credit Group that he had built didn't exactly end very well. Your thoughts?
