Q: Hello, we are looking to both put the maximum 5500.00 in to our Tfsa accounts early in 2015. We have done well with Parkland in a registered account but am wondering whether it is heavily or overly dependent on the Alberta economy. Also considering Concordia/Currency Exchange/CCL as well. Our focus is 3 year minimum hold. Your regular comments to invest in companies rather than trade the market is very reassuring when there are sudden moves in the market. Thank you! Bill

Q: EasyHome has fell 17% in 5 days. It's trailing PE is now 15.5. There is no news I can find, so I speculate it's due to tax-loss selling. Unless they lend to people in Alberta more than anywhere else? I have a half position at a 20% loss. Would you add to the position?

Doubtless you have a flood of emails regarding AYA. The news is scant but I would still appreciate your views and if you are surprised that AYA wasnt halted this morning. Also given the flood of selling this morning what are your recommendations?

Q: I have read your responses to Amaya's recent investigations, but haven't been able to find a co-relation with Manulife. I understand that Manulife is also being investigated in relation to Amaya's purchase of PokerStars: how does it play into the scenario and what might be the repercussions for MFC? Q: Hi Peter,

We own three bank stocks, RY, BNS & TD and are wondering about purchasing some Sunlife. What entry point would you pick to get started in Sunlife. The stock doesn't seem to want to come down like it did in the October correction. We are long term holders of the banks and would also be long term holders of sunlife.

Q: 1. If Oil prices do not recover in the next couple of years, is HNL at risk?
2. Does it have any significant debt maturing in the next 2 years that they might not be able to renew?
3. I know that you rated HNL as a C+ in October. Has your view changed in the last couple of months?
4. Would you recommend selling? It is a very small portion of my portfolio.

Q: Stantec recently had a 2 for 1 stock split that is currently reflected on the stock market but 5i files are still showing the pre-split price. Does your system not update stock prices of stocks you provide a profile and rating(A)on when there are material changes in a stock?
