Q: PSN ...Given: An astonshing 70 million shares have traded hands in the last couple of weeks ... And, for every seller there is a buyer.

Is this company dead in the water, just not officially declared so?
Or, are the buyers discerning opportunists ... or wild eyed gamblers?
Or something else?

Now, the real question: Are we at the point where the risk reward has tipped into the reward camp?

Q: Hi Peter and 5i team, A while ago, you answered a question on gold. I am very much in agreement with your reasons for holding gold and also what to hold. However, you likened gold to insurance and suggested to have some always. That suggests a permanent typa deal. For long periods (20-25 years stretches), gold could be a drag on the portfolio. I intend to get out of it once the threat of banking collapse, hyperinflation/currency-debasement and turmoil in global money system all subside. Are we so different on this point?

Q: Microsoft had a free stock tracking site a few years ago but unfortunately dicontinued it. It provided all key metrics, inside buying, charts, % gains, etc, etc, and was so superior to anything I have found since. Do you or your readership have any recommendations?

Q: what would happen to a reit if they said "we are going to stop issuing equity and stop acquiring new properties for the foreseeable future (2,3,4 5 years?). our plan is to now slowly grow our cash flows by paying down debt and existing mortgages".

I'm not opposed reits issuing equity to purchase properties and pursue growth through acquisition. however, I've always wondered if a reit would ever make the decision to simply focus on paying down existing mortgages rather than continually grow through acquisition.

Q: Hi Peter & 5i: Just a follow up on my last question on oil. I like getting income + growth from oil producers so I'm happy to see RPL and WCP added to TBE and LNV in the small producer income space. But if the expectation is that there may be oil price weakness for a quarter or two sometime in the next year or two, I'm wondering how these will do relative to each other, but also relative to larger oil income names like CPG and BTE. If I want to maintain some exposure to this oil income space, which ones might be best able to withstand lower oil prices the longest and be most able to continue their dividend payments in a rocky commodity environment. The oil market may be more global than the natural gas market, but Canadian oil producers don't get WTI, let alone Brent. If there is more oil coming from US soil, I'm concerned that Canadian producers may suffer a more punitive spread from WTI. Thanks again!

Q: Peter...do these guys trak as interest income? SRV.UN ax.un INN.UN PAR.UN TR.UN Is that their only difference to basic dividend paying stocks? any cons here?
