Thanks for your help!

Q: Hi 5i team,
In response to my question on replacing BDI (tax selling) you suggested HNL. This was on Dec.10th. Two days later in response to question from Hans you suggested selling HNL due to debt levels and removal from TSX index. I am a bit puzzled there...?
I replaced BDI with HNL last Thu and now down 15% on this stock in just 3 days. Can you please confirm either one or another recommendation? I have 2% of portfolio in HNL (my O&G total 18%) and wondering whether I should keep HNL or sell it and get additional 3K loss?

Q: Seasons Greetings 5i Team
I have noticed that NWC's recent 3rd Quarter was positive, as the chart up tic revealed. Trusting that I am not overly invested in this sector, I am thinking to add NWC to my long term 'income portfolio' ..as it really is not big on growth.
May I have your opinion of the finances of NWC please?
Thank you D Mc

Q: Hi, I've asked about RFMD before and you liked it. I've noticed that there's been a lot of insider selling. Do you think there's anything to be concerned about? I bot a little at 14.21 w/intention to add and hold for 1-2 yrs. Would you add at this time.....it's down 3.29% as I write.
Thanks a lot!
Thanks a lot!

Q: I am wondering if it would be useful to have a screen showing the release dates for upcoming earnings for the companies in the 5i portfolios. I expect these are dates you follow and I know it would help to simplify my follow-up.

Q: I notice that your have recommended that investors do nothing for now.
If, by chance, AYA or senior officers of the company are found to be guilty, what would you expect to happen to the stock?
How badly could the stock be hurt and for how long?
As usual, thanks for shedding light in so many ways.

Q: Hi Peter
Merry Christmas. I hold PFE and GID in my US portfolio. Would BAX be a good addition for healthcare income and some growth or would you suggest an alternate.
Thanks
Hamish

Q: This stock is up a bit lately. Would you suggest getting in now with a small weight or waiting as you previously mentioned it was still speculative.
Q: I see IT is buying a new co. and I am wondering if & when this purchase will be accretive to their bottomline. Thanks for you help.
Q: I have accumulated Canadian biotech/pharma companies RX, CPH, CXR, MSL, NRI and NHC with a hope that some of them might be taken over by the others. Do you think there is a possibility of any of these companies buying the other. Who do you think will be the most probable target and who is the most likely acquirer. Thanks
Q: Hi Peter and group. I am increasingly concerned about Canadian Equity Stocks. I would like some more exposure to the US.I am interested in all sectors including a currency ETF. Is it possible for you to recommend US based ETFs. One in each sector would be a big help. I know you do not focus on the US but at times like this it would be as big plus.. Thanks for your service I find it extremely helpful.
Q: What is your opinion of Crew energy.? It has been a big volatile trader this week. It is always on the most active list. Is this one you would foresee popping in price in the new year? How much insider ownership on crew? And are they mostly gas no oil? Thanks for the hand holding.
Q: i know nothing about hedges, debt to cashflow etc. but would like to know if these companies can survive until the next upswing in the oil market. im down 60% in both, but have not bailed ...yet. tkx pat
Q: My understanding is that you view Germany and Japan as the 2 countries to benefit most from low oil prices. This being the case could you recommend etf's that that would give maximum upside preferably in US dollars. Dividends are not important to me for this investment. Thanks for your great service.
Q: Hi Peter and Team,
From what I see in the Q&As today, there is a relative theme of this being one of the worst days, in a month or two of historic volatility. I`m afraid this question will not be any different, and I ask it in a more general context. Notwithstanding today`s 5% drop, on top of a couple months of , in my view, over selling, why does the market treat this stock in the same vain as an energy stock? In effect, you would think that lower priced oil / byproducts should be a stimmulus to LYB`s bottom line. With a very attractive valuation and what seems to be a positive outlook for the company, considering the potential of the US economy in the upcoming near future, can you offer insight as to the recent flogging? I look forward to your response on this one, I`m in the dark here. Thanks as always, Rick.
