Thanks, Tim.

I'm thinking of selling Emera or Fortis and buying Capital Power, what do you think of this move.
Thanks

Q: I would appreciate your opinion on PID versus PFM. 3 & 5 years performance as well as sharp ratio is much better for PFM than PID while standard deviation for PFM is lower. So don't understand why morning star is giving PID 5* rating while PFM has only 3* rating. Am I missing something? would you have a better alternative to these two?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Exceptional service. I am 61 and through your advice trying to become more of an investor instead of a trader. Could I have your opinion on my stock portfolio which are all in either in a RRSP or TFSA. I will have a small company pension at 65 and I do hold some GIC's.
Thanks

Q: I am considering selling TD Bank and buying either Bank of Nova Scotia or Capital Power CPX. TD has had a good run and I think BNS may provide more upside over the next 2 to 3 years. I also like Capital Power for it's 4.8% dividend and it's growth prospects over the next few years. For capital growth potential and dividend growth which would you prefer between BNS and CPX?
Thanks for your help,
Duncan

Q: Hi 5i team;
I am reviewing my self directed investment accounts, 2 tfsa and 2 non registered with a total of 180k. Should I look at them as separate portfolios and weigh them accordingly (5%) or look at them as one?
I have 29 Canadian and 13 U.S. stocks within the 4 accounts, my top 6 holdings represent 25% and the balance averages 2% each. The majority of the Canadian stocks are "5i" approved!
Thanks again,
Jim

Q: hello 5i:
KBL appears to have negative free cash flows for 2013, and for ytd 2014. Is this company still a buy, and how does free cash flow figure into your valuations?
thanks

Q: ACQ
ACQ seem to be getting very expensive, though the recent inroads into Quebec and franchise with BMW and Mini are very promising. The purchase of Hyatt in Alberta is also good. They are included into TSX composite too.
Do you think they need to raise equity to fund the continuous acquisitions?
Do you think the acticle in http://seekingalpha.com/article/2267263-autocanada-an-easy-short has merits or just too worry about nothing?

Q: What is your opinion on LRE given the recent gassy acquisition? I'm concerned management may continue to issue shares like CPG, stagnating the share price. Thanks.
Q: Hi Peter and team,
I am doing a mid-year review of my 25 stocks. I have 9 that don't excite me too much anymore. Of these 9 can you tell me which 3 you like the least at this time, and why (goal is dividend with medium growth, 2 to 5 year horizon).
AX.UN, D.UN, XRE
HLP.UN
ATD.B
DR
TBE
THI
XSR
I know that you are not aware of the weightings and what else is in my portfolio, but ignore that for now.

Q: Hi Team
I sold my position in Web Tech wireless when approval was given for a share consolidation of 1 for 5.Consolidations from my experience are usually negative for the share price. The company looks decent enough at this price,i believe they are cash flow positive and also have around 23 million in cash.My thinking is that i should be able to re-purchase shares after they drift down for a year or so after the consolidation. Can i have your comments please.
Thanks Gordon

Q: Entrec ent is being added to the tsx and removed from the venture. I would think this is positive news. I like the space they are in. Own 1000 shares and looking to add to my position. Would you buy it? Thanks for Amaya. Sold half my position today at $20, letting the rest ride for free! Cannot get too greedy. Thank you thank you.
Q: In Avigilon’s (AVO) recent annual meeting circular, they are proposing an amendment to the corporation’s by-laws which would indemnify the Directors and officers in the event of any criminal or civil proceedings against them. Normally I wouldn’t give this a second thought, but in consideration of the recent abrupt (and mysterious) departure of the CFO it causes me concern. I am far from a conspiracy theorist, but it leaves the impression that something shady might be going on, hence the CFO departure the day before the release of quarterly results, and now a move to better insulate the officers from any liability. I’ve read all the Q and A as well as the AVO report that you just updated and it is clear that the recent CFO departure doesn’t seem to concern you, but what if anything do you read into the company’s move (and the timing of it) to amend their by-laws to better protect the Officers?
Q: Hi 5i: Could you please comment on NXP Semi-Conductor (NXPI) on NASDAQ. It was a top pick recently on BNN.
Q: LVH - Las Vegas From Home. I have held this stock for years and am still deep in the ditch. However if I bought it earlier this year I would be up nicely. Timing really is a roll of the dice.
However, given the recent news for AYA, would this make LVH as good opportunity buy right now?
Thanks for your help and guidance.
