Q: BAM.A continues to fall since your most recent comments. It currently trades at $64.40. I recently started to accumulate the stock at $67.90 as a long-term hold. I would appreciate knowing your current thoughts and if you suggest continuing to average in or wait until the apparent correction runs further. Thank you.

Q: Hi team I have held SPB for years now, I was wondering if its recent price drop is warranted based on it most recent results, or does this represent a buying opportunity. I am looking to buy it in my TFSA. Thanks again for your great help and advice.
Q: There has been quite an upward move in CUM lately. Last year I watched my stocks go up and continued to hold as it went right down. I am showing some good profits. Should I dump it? I also hold Hudbay and Tech. Thanks
Q: What are your current thoughts on ATP. I bought it a while back and it has reached my profit target of 50%, however, they have announced some cost cutting efficiency measures recently that should serve them well. Sell or hold?
Q: hello team, could you tell me what my best options are with Allana now there has been an offer.

Q: Jimmy asked a question on May 4th regarding the CSC. I wrote it last year and used a book by Sean Cleary. see http://ca.wiley.com/WileyCDA/Section/id-302478.html?query=W.+Sean+Cleary. I used it as a complement, rather than substitute, to the two CSI textbooks. Good luck!!!
Q: Could you take a look at Grande West and tell me your thoughts. I am hearing positive things but would like your opinion. I realize it is a small company but it sounds like there is potential. Thank you
Q: Hello Peter, thanks to the extra $4500 in TFSA room and some additional uninvested cash, I'd like to now add two stocks from your Growth portfolio to my TFSA (where, of course, one prefers one's largest gains to occur). I already have full positions in AVO, DHX, XTC and GUD. Can you please recommend two choices based on current prices. (I know you have favoured CDV and CXI very recently, but given the large gains I've missed in the last month, I worry about pulling the trigger on those.) Also, kindly suggest a good current choice from your balanced portfolio for my non-registered account. (I already own AW, ESL, FCR, HCG, MDA, BIN, SJ, and WPK amongst others.) I was considering TELUS? Thanks in advance! James
Q: My wife has a locked in basic RRSP with about 20 thousand that is only allowed to hold mutual funds and I think ETFs(no stocks). Could you please recommend a few mutual funds or ETfs that are growth maybe similar to IWO since 95% of our total holdings are large cap blue chip and on the safe side. Thank You all for the great service.

Q: Hi, is the new JV announced by Magna today a material deal for the company? It will not close for up to a year - is it a longer term strategic deal?
Q: Hi,
Your thoughts on Elon Musk's home rechargeable battery and it's investment impact on utility companies (Fortis, Emera, Canadian Utilities, etc…). I see Walmart is testing it out in some of their stores. I have read some pundits suggesting this will do to utility companies what the cell phone did to the land line business.
Thanks
Robert

Q: Gentlemen. A quick question about TFSAs. My wife and I have both contributed the maximum allowed up to this point. The limit has been increased to 10000.00. Is the extra 4500.00 for this year and future years contributions. Or is it retroactive back to the beginning?
Thank you.
Ron

Q: Hi 5i: Nearing retirement, I am searching for dividend yield of about 4% from stocks that have the potential for enough growth to increase dividends as interest rates increase. I own BNS and NA in this category. I would appreciate some suggestions to add additional stocks that will meet this need.
Great Service.
Thanks,
Hans

Q: Hello Peter et al,
Technology is under represented in our portfolio with CSU at 3.8% and OTC at 1.1%.
I would like to add one or two names, or one name plus add to OTC. Suggestions would be appreciated. The new holdings will be within a RIF but will be viewed as long term holds as there are other holdings that can be used for the annual withdrawal for the next few years.
Many thanks. Bob
