Q: Good Afternoon,
I had a full position in Milestone and today it is being sold. What are your thoughts on BPY.UN for replacement or would you have other names in the multi family residential properties? I know that BPY.un is not in the muti family residential property.
Thanks
Paul

Q: We all know that interest rates will be going up, and these guests on BNN poo poo reits as an investment, and than try to explain how there picks down 60 & 70 % may eventually come back for there investors if they wait long enough. The way i see it, if a reit has good management they will do well going forward. In Canada, Car.un, they are full, in the USA the ones are around 95% full. More and more people in the future will be forced to live in an apartment, with poor wage growth, more expenses, they will never qualify for a mortgage. What do you think, am i not seeing the real picture here, high quality Reits should be held even a rising rate time?
Q: I would appreciate your comments on the $60 million secondary issue announced today.
Thanks

Q: Hello,
Which one of these is a better buy and why? Purchase it in RSP or investment account? It appears that mrg.un is cheaper from a P/B value point. THANKS.

Q: Further to Edward's Q about reits with US holdings, I might suggest MRG.UN. It may be a tad pricey at the moment (I just sold mine, moving into the commercial side with HOT,UN and HR.UN) but I think the dividend is safe.
Q: Over the last 5+ trading days MRG.UN has been moving down from a recent 52 week high ($13.65). Today MRG.UN closed at $12.95 and moved below its 50 day moving average. As well, recent daily trading volumes are frequently higher than their average volume. Today for example, the volume was well over two times the norm, albeit the average daily volume is only about 26,500. I also noticed late today - on the TMX site, that RBC appears to be doing the majority of the selling of this stock. I would appreciate your thoughts re this REIT. I hold 2000 units that I purchased at $10.00 several years ago. I SO appreciate your expertise. Thanks.

Q: Would like your view on the 2 morguard reits and which you might prefer. Thanks.
Q: Can you give your opinion on MRG.un. The recent quarterly generated a nice pop in the stock, but debt is higher than I like. POR is excellent. Yield is good, and distribution is mostly ROC. But I'm not sure how much growth there will be?
Do you expect them to grow the stable of assets and the cash flow very much?
