Q: Just wanted to get your take on Master Limited Partnerships and are there any in Canada? Do you feel it would be worthwhile to buy some US MLPs seeing as they would incur the double taxation?

Q: Hello Peter,
Do you think atd.b, aya, and dhx.b are getting close to being fully valued. I understand they are growth stocks, but they seem be getting quite high. I was thinking of increasing my position in atd.b, but was wondering from a valuation standpoint. Thanks for the advice.

Q: Peter and Team,
I've owned Constellation Software since the model portfolio was created and have done well with it... very happy, great pick!
Reading their quarterly results, it seems like they are firing on all cylinders still - cash is up, debt was reduced, they grew both by acquisition and organically, earnings per share are up - things look good and the company still seems like 'A' quality.
Am I missing anything?

Q: Is it better to sell agrium now with the recent jump in the stock price or wait for further news? Many thanks
Q: My word what a jump ... is it time to trim back?? Do we stick with the 5% rule (weighting) or ride this pony further? TY.
Q: What is your view of the earnings and stock reaction ? is this still a reasonable hold ?
Q: Hi guys,
Is there a place where I can find reliable financial information on all Canadian and U.S. companies. For example, type in a ticker symbol and access recent quarterly results for the last few years, P/E ratios, forward P/E, etc. I don't mind paying for the service if the information is reliable.
Thanks a lot!
Jason

Thanks again

Q: Hi Peter,
BTO, Goldcorp among others, were decimated this morning. I have been holding approximately a 10% weighting, in a diversified portfolio. Sell? Hold? What is your advice?
Thank you,
Gail

Q: AltaGas is made up of 3 business segments (power, gas and utilities). In terms of asset allocation sectors (Finance, Utilities, Consumer, Industrial, Resources), it is a hybrid of Utilities and Resources. I currently split it 70% utilities and 30% resources.
Your thoughts?

Q: Byd.un always seems to be reported as negative EPS. Is this just a temporary thing? Should we not expect a prosperous company to report positive EPS?
What other measure should we look at to gauge the quality of the company?
Thanks

Q: Regarding asset allocation and REITs, I know you consider them to be almost a separate asset class. Most advisories I receive have them in the Finance sector; one has them in the Manufacturing and Industrial sector. I own Sentry REIT Fund and TCN. I currently split them 50% Finance and 50% Industrial. Your thoughts on the allocation split?
Also, my REIT exposure is 8% of my total portfolio, including equities, fixed income and cash. It is 12% of my equity-only holdings. I am a retired income investor. Is this REIT exposure appropriate?
Thanks for your help.

Q: Hi Team
I am going to buy a little Teck for longer term hold. The last questions you had were in early October when the price was north of $20 - now it is sub $18. What price would you put on your blue ticket?
Thanks Jim
