Q: Hi Peter and team,

You are probably being bombarded with potash-related questions, so I apologize if this is more of the same. Does the big drop in the share prices of POT, MOS, etc. provide a buying opportunity for companies like BHP Billiton? The premium they have to pay would now be significantly less, as would the total outlay. Or do you foresee interest waning as the pricing power drops?

Q: Hi Peter and good gang. Re NPI.I have held this stock for too long now, I have read all the answers from you question page but this stock is wearing out it's price. Is there a good reason to keep on holding it, and if not could you suggest an alternative with a yield, growth and stability. I have Ala ,Bep.un, banks, pipelines,oil and gas stks. Q: Hi to everyone at 5i

I have been purchasing PNE for my TFSA primarily because it is managed by same team from Bonterra whom I consider to be outstanding. As well, the acquisition of Skope Energy assets through a CCAA arrangement appears to be a great deal for the company.

However, unlike BNE, PNE has issued a lot equity. Do you have any thoughts on Pine Cliff?

Q: To hold more Cdn ETFs in my accounts, I would like to sell BIN (non taxable acct) and replace it with HXT in my taxable account. Does this make sense? I have a small gain on BIN and want to gradually move away from individual stock picking having been retired for over 10 years.

I'd love to get your take on Painted Pony (PPY). This continues to look good to me and their recent well results seemed ok. Any thoughts on this one? I have held it a while (two-to-three years, can't remember without looking at my trading diary) and continue to think its got decent fundamentals and real value as a take-over target.
