Q: Hello Peter,

I am looking for a small cap company for investment. Can you give me your thoughts on either IMRIS INC, PARKIT (PKT) OR CORETEX BUSINESS SOLUTION. Is either one a good long term investment ?
If not, can you give me a one or two samll cap idea for long term investment.

Q: Currently, I have a few canadian companies that do work in the states like Catamarin and patient home Monitoring and open Text. Could you name some other companies that do business in the States particularly in the Health care field that I could invest in. Actually PHM is an American company.

Q: I currently have around $30,000.00 to invest. I am selling my losing stocks and taking the proceeds to buy into the equity model portfolio. I do already own some or similar stocks that you have listed. The ones that I do not own or have no sector weight in are CSU,DSG,FM,FSV,MDA AND SYZ. With this amount of cash which stocks mentioned here would be the best to buy. I do hope to buy all as more money come available. I do currently own some Stanec and Enghouse but both are at low weight

Q: Hi Peter, I fortunately did NOT have any Oil in my Portfolio. I now want to invest about $10K by buying High Risk / Big Upside COs and holding for a couple of years. I'm thinking of 2000 shares each in IKM, YGR, LXE, RRX, LEG & Dee. I only want 5, so which one would you suggest I drop?

Q: One pundit who is long CGI Group, as am I, thinks 2015 is the year this company makes a large takeover which ought to give the stock a big boost. How likely is that and how much cash are they sitting on since they pay no dividend yet seem to have been profitable for many years? I've held this stock since 2013 in US $ which of course has limited the appreciation and I'm wondering if I should continue holding for this possible event or fold sale proceeds into one of the current tech holdings and if the latter, which 1 or 2? Current p/f weight of GIB is 1% and other tech holdings (total 12%) are CSU 4% AYA 3% ESL, MDA, AAPL all 1% and SYZ and AVO 0.5%. We are in our late 60's, retired, but can take some risk in this area. Thanks to 5i for the handsome gains in most of these names except AVO (so far), J.

Q: I have 800k cash in my investment accounts and want to keep it in cash as I have a number of stock investments as well. Where would you suggest I put the cash where I wouldn't have to be concerned about it.

Q: I am quite happy with your service but I notice that you don't use stop losses, either mental or actual, which may have helped in the case of AHF and AVO. I do not own either, having sold my AHF some time ago. Any comment?

Q: Hi, I own a small position in AAB (Aberdeen International). I bought it at $0.36 a few years ago, and it has declined ever since. I pretty much consider it dead money, and was actually thinking of selling it. However, there seems to be activists trying to change things and oust the current board of directors (from what I understand). The share price did not really change on that announcement. I would like you views on the potential impact of this event on the share price. My thinking now is that I might as well hold on to see what happens, but I would like your views on this type of situation. Thanks for your excellent service.
