Q: Hello Peter and team
I am starting to build the growth portfolio and the only 2 names I already own are CXI and DHX, what would be the next 2 names you would suggest adding, these 2 would be held in TFSA thanks to the new limit.

Q: Hi Peter,

When I first started to subscribe I decided to take not of some of the US stocks you mentioned and thought highly of, as I was in need of some US ideas for that side of my port.

The ideas I recorded that you suggested to certain subscribers were MTSN/PSEM/OREX.

Since March 1 MTSN is down 30%, PSEM is down 20% and OREX is down 13%.

What is your thoughts on these 3 stocks after these tumbles. What happened to them and why? Would you still buy them, hold them if you own them, or sell if you own them?

I know you don't offer detailed coverage on these three but I would appreciate your answers as you seem to be familiar with them.

Q: Hello 5i.
I would like to compare apples to apples. For example I'm comparing BCE to the TSX60 over a period of 5yrs. In TDwaterhouse I look at the graph for BCE for 5yrs and it shows a 55% increase. When I compare it to the TSX60 capped Index it shows BCE at 80% and the index at 25%. Why the difference of 55% and 80%? What goes into calculating the value of BCE over this time frame. Is it the appreciation of the stock price plus the compounded dividend reinvested? Is it the same for the index? Also is it the same for mutual funds?

Q: Brookfield's U.S.-traded income funds (Infrastructure INF, Total Return HTR and High Income HHY are all trading much closer to their 52-week lows than their highs. Can you explain why? Do you consider them good investments for income and growth?

Q: Responding to a question regarding form T1135. CRA website states that for 2014 you can file this form electronically. But when I phoned U-File they told me that I have to sign and send the form using regular mail. Both U-File and CRA website has the mail address. Using U-File I was able to complete the form and print it. Don't know which packages allow you to send this form electronically. Responding to longstanding frustrations with Form T1135, the government announced in the proposed budget that there will be a streamlined process for taxpayers with between $100,000 and $250,000 in specified foreign income.

Q: Good morning Team: Do you think ENB price will get them thinking about a stock split again?

Q: It was discussed on BNN yesterday by Jerome Haas "BNN effect". Like 5i, he feels it has good prospects for growth ahead. I haven't watched it but I believe he made a comment saying it could be a $50 stock within 12 months. In the past, I believe he also said it could be a $1B company in the future which based on market cap would put it at $150/share.

"CXI is a wholesale provider of foreign currency services to financial institutions such as banks, credit unions, and trust companies. It’s a low-risk, high-growth business, and I think it has the potential to be something very big. The market has only started to awoke to the growth potential ahead of CXI, driving up the stock by about 135 percent in the last 12 months. FY2014 numbers were fantastic: sales and EBITDA both grew 40 percent year-over-year. Management is confident that they can grow the business organically at a 30 percent rate over the next few years. We believe they will be able to exceed that rate over the next 3 years; 50 percent growth is not out of the question. Still not a well-known story; another ‘uncrowded’ trade; only three sell-side Analysts cover the stock."

Q: GDI which was privately held is now being offered to the public by merging with a small public company(MWC.v). It seems like an interesting company with revenue growth of 29% since 2004, generates lots of free cash flow and it operated in a very stable industry. Could I get your opinion on it.

Q: I am constantly wrestling with 'industry' in my portfolio. Is Amica real estate, health care, financial? You could help your subscribers education if you identified the industry or asset class of each of the holdings in your model portfolios.

Q: I don't mind holding a stock through expensive valuations the same as I don't mind holding a stock below my buy price as long as there is a high degree of predictable, repeatable business and growing earnings per share.

With the above being said, I'm trying to figure out how predictable is Concordia's earnings per share growth over the next few years. I see next year's eps estimates are around $5.50 per share. What do think the chances are of cxr hitting this target and going forward how predictable and repeatable is their business?
