Q: Hi Guys
SVC (Sandvine) is down so far today. Do you think this is a good entry point? There is some share buyback happening and a few good orders/contracts for the company and they have some cash. Also I am hoping to know why the quick drop of 10%. Is it because of overreacting traders? What is your opinion please. Thanks as always for the great things you do.

Q: SVC just announced a major order plus a share buyback proposal. However, 3rd Qtr guidance has dropped. Still seems like a very good company. Thoughts?

Q: BYD, SJ, LNR & VET are all currently below their ascending trend line as well their 50 day moving average. Is this a good opportunity to increase my positions in these companies? Is their a reliable technical indicator to take out some of the guess work of adding to good companies? Please do not reply that this is not a factor to someone with a long term perspective. Thank you for your insight.

Q: To add to our income portfolio we are looking at purchasing BEP.UN and have read your favourable comments and 2013 report. We look at Google Finance, Morningstar and the TMX site and are a little confused by the very different numbers for eps, P/E,etc. Google Finance has a P/E of 102.27 and an eps of .31. The quarterly dividend is .42. ie not a very good payout ratio? Morningstar publishes a P/E TTM of 17.5. What is P/E TTM? Are you still favourable toward owning Bep.un.as a long term hold for income?
