Q: I own HBIL and have noticed that when yields increase, it falls in value. I get that. But when yields fall as they have been lately, the price goes up much more slowly. Can you explain please. Thanks

Hamilton U.S. T-Bill YIELD MAXIMIZER TM ETF (HBIL $15.06)
Q: I purchased these with a view to moving away from equities. I am retired and interested in dividend income. While capital appreciation would be nice, ensuring limited capital losses is more critical. I'm getting a healthy monthly income from all 3 but based on recent adjustment by RBC Direct it seems some of that is ROC ... so it's an inflated dividend percentage as it is clear capital is eroding. Seems like I may have made a mistake ... down about 7% as I sit today since I purchased. When you consider ROC I'm down over 10% on my original purchase price. Not the end of the world, but what is it going to take to get the share price moving back up for these 3? Would you continue to hold ?

Hamilton U.S. T-Bill YIELD MAXIMIZER TM ETF (HBIL $15.06)
Q: I am interested on your view of these two types of investments in this period of volatile markets: one being preferred shares of FFH, the other relating to treasuries.
Would either be suitable at this time?
Would one be preferred over the other?
Would you have preferred suggestions?

Q: Can you discuss the differences between dlr.i.ca, dlr.ca, hbil.ca , pas.ca , csav.ca in regards to safety of capital to park cash. There is a significant difference in return 4%-10%. Some are high interest savings accounts and others US dollar accounts. Are the US dollar accounts too risky?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: Anticipating a downturn in '25 I promised myself that I wouldn't ride the market down like I did in '22 so I bailed on most of my tech holdings, at least temporarily. I am looking to park the cash with the following criteria:
1. Immediate access i.e. no locked in GICs.
2. Highest reasonable yield
3. Modest volatility
What is your current view of the highest yielding Hamilton ETFs and can you recommend any competitors or other options?
Thank you

Hamilton U.S. T-Bill YIELD MAXIMIZER TM ETF (HBIL $15.06)
Q: I purchased these 4-6 months ago thinking I should diversify away from stocks and equity based ETF's. All 3 of them are down (from 3.5% to 8%). While they all pay a healthy dividend (~8% to ~ 18%), I am wondering if I should continue to hold. Can you tell me what it will take to get them improving in value (identify for each). And the likelihood of an improvement in value in the next 6-12 months. As well, if you recommend selling and moving on, in what order would you sell?

Q: Hi, I am wondering what percentage split one should have between long term bonds and short term t-bills on the cash side of their portfolio. I realize that it is somewhat an individual choice, but can you give me a ballpark kind of split. My investments are presently 70% equities, and 30% cash equivalents. Thanks

Q: Hi, I see Hamilton ETF has brought a new covered call ETF HBIL. Other than it being brand new, and no history, and a bit on the small side with only $10 m in AUM, what are your thoughts on this as a replacement for our HISA's.
Thanks
