Q: I've owned Thyphon Mines(TYP-V) now for 2 years. Paid .64 cents. Trading at .085 today. Any sense in keeping this gold mine in my portfolio. Thanks.
Q: Peter. Last June, you provided some information on the investment merits of COA. Wondered if you could comment on how you see it now. Many thanks. Ken
Q: I continue to track Symbility (TSXV: SY). Management continues to execute well by consistently beefing up their client list at a staggering pace. Most recently, they signed with a major UK insurer. Do you think this is a good entry point now that a major client seems to back their product?
I am baffled by the 30% additional fall in NPK since the last time I posted a question about it. After a lot of reading I am personally of the opinion that this is definitely a 2 or 3 bagger stock. It has an excellent project with great economies of scale especially for Brazil's requirements of potash if it gets the needed financing. Potash is a commodity the demand of which is tied to population increase. What is the possibility that this company will be just like all the penny stock precious metal failures that fail to obtain cash infusion.
Q: Hammond (HPS.A) has dropped considerably since lightly decresed earnings a couple of days ago. Is this a market reaction to the weak quarter (seems a tad muchof a reaction) or is the higher volume just somebody of size pulling out? Also, what is your opinion of future prospects given these results.
Thanks!
Q: Hi Again Peter
I read your answer and one thing sticks out to me that you said
"Sometimes, veins are so profitable it doesn't matter as much"
This is what they are referring to as "vein-Type" like Sri Lanka but it is not a Vein. it is hydrothermal much like Diamonds in Breccia pipe. Reference to Sri Lanka is for the purity not the Veins.
Not sure if you were aware of this
Please only publish if you like if not please reply privately
Thanks

Q: I noticed Hang Feng (HF) is trading below tangible book of over $5, with low debt (current ratio over 6 and total debt to equity of 0.05). The CEO recently made an opportunistic bid for the reamining shares at $2.20 and seems to have conspired with the customers to blackmail the shareholders into accepting the offer. That being said the shares are well below this offer price. Is this an opportunity or are there such serious doubts about the integrity of the process that its a hold or eve an outright sell at this point?
Q: Hi Peter, just read your answer to previous email. You mentioned
"now the third test. You are right, if these results can get extended over larger samples, then the prospects for ZEN will be very good."
This would be considered large sample would it not? it was the entire length 170m (one half of it)of core from hole 5 that they sampled.
Thanks
Don
