I am a big time fantasy football player as are an estimated 33 million other people... This new application developed by SPY called Breaking Sports appears to be validating big time the true financial aspects behind fantasy sports and the billions invested annually.
Id like to know what 5i thinks of SPY moving forward and if you are aware of any other software developments they may be looking at down the road. And would you consider SPY a sell, hold or buy at these levels.
I am down 87% on this stock and I learnt my lesson not to speculate again. I have 4 questions:
1- Why the steady drop since July? 2- What is the likely future for this company? 3- Is bankruptcy a real likelihood? 4- should I hang on or take what is left of this disaster story and call it a good lesson?
Q: Hi 5i ,yesterday while giving your thoughts on CZN you mentioned that the cash on hand was being used at a fairly brisk rate. so my question is how much cash do they have on hand and what has been their burn rate so far in 2014 ? do you know what the burn rate is for the next 12 months.
also with regards to commodities being in the dog house is it possible for some stocks of certain commodities to outperform the markets . for discussion purposes if zinc was to average &1.50 per lb for all of 2015 would this show up in zinc related stocks or all commodity stocks painted with the same brush (red).
are we still in a normal business cycle and do you feel the US recovery is for real ? thanx Norm
Q: Hi just a quick question on ELW. I foolishly bought in at about 95 cents and it has kept falling since. Should cut my losses and sell or hold on long term?
Q: Hello,
I would like your opinion on IMF. They made two interesting announcements recently following good work from their R&D. I understand that: management owns a sizable position in the company, the balance sheet is a little too much levered, they are growing revenues after a few years of problems with new equipement, the stock is thinly traded.
Thank you,
Eric
Q: Peter, Since sin stocks, amaya, great canadian gaming, gamehost are all doing well, I own a position in century casinos on new york exchange. I am underwater for now but like the growth prospects and they keep winning awards for best run casino as well as running casinos on cruise ships and they are building in calgary which will include racehorsing. Can you tell me how much insiders own of this company. Because it is not followed very well, I feel that if all things go well this is a company that could surprise on the upside and start to be followed more closely.
I have a small position in NRG. Have noticed over the past month very little movement on the stock price and, for the past 8 days, it has stayed at $2.25 with very little volume.
Last you reported there is risk but potential. is there anything you can add to that today that might speak towards what you see moving forward and what reasons if any for the stagnant price and minimal trading?
