Q: I purchased 3000 URB @$1.82 on the recommendation of another of analyst. It hasnt done anything. Do you have any info. on it. My thinking is to sell and start deploying the capital into one of your portfolio stocks. Also being a new member which stock would you recommend to begin with. I've done really well with this analyst so far but am going to try to diversify into more stable portfolio.

Q: Hello Peter
Do I include "Cash" as part of my equity portfolio since the cash will one day be used to buy equities? I currently have 19.3% in banks [RY,CM,BNS,NA,LB,OLY] counting the cash as part of the equity portfolio but 23.3% considering equities only.
I have no lifecos but am considering buying Sun Life [SLF] which you recently recommend, but if it is considered to be a "financial" then maybe that would be too big an overall position in financials. I also have 40% in fixed income. I would value your opinion.
Many thanks...... Paul

Ken

Q: Hello team:
I owned some PWF which I accumulated between 25 to 28;
now it is over $ 35, I enjoyed the nice dividend
I recently added some SLF (half position) so that if interest rates slowly increase, the life co would offset the loss of value of the bonds in my income porfolio
Which Life co would you add to PWF and SLF ?; Thanks!

Q: I am finally profitable on my IGM : I wish to sell this but "stay financial" . Where would the greatest upside be ?... BNS , HCG , or something else ? ... I need income .
Q: Hi Peter and gang, what is your opinion of investing in european banks at the present time. Do you like San , or would you recommend an ETF of European banks. Thanks Darryl
Q: If you had to choose between FSV and HCG, which would you buy?
Thanks for your great service!

Q: I have 25k to invest in the financial sector, I prefer Canadian banks outside of my registered accounts. Are the Canadian banks fully priced after the recent run. Do you see further upside in the Canadian Banks in the next 12 months and if so which 2 banks have the most to gain going forward. Which 2 banks will increase their dividends in the next 12 months. Instead of investing equally in two Canadian banks would I be better off to invest in ZWB or ZEB which hold all the major banks. Thanks for your highly valued opinion.

Q: Just wondering what you think of AIG. Low P/E and P/B ratio. Wondering if this would be a good time to buy. Thanks.
Q: Of the two which would you recommend..POW or SLF? Thanks
Q: Hello Peter,
So glad we joined 5i, great information.
Could you comment on Life & Banc Split Corp (LBS).
The 12% yield is it a too good to be true story?
Thanks,
Ted

Q: With your sunny comments on November 5th on SUM, I considered adding the stock to my portfolio but am timid to do so after viewing the considerable insider selling of the stock. Would you also be deterred after seeing the selling? Thanks, Bill
Q: I am going to buy one of the following banks...National, TD, BMO, CIBC or BNS. Any frontrunners in the group and what do you expect dividends to do in this grouping?
