Q: Both now and when we emerge from Covid 19 online sales are improving... People who in the past who did not use it are now saying " Sure beats going out shopping " . It also appears that China may be a leader in the economic recovery. Which brings me to AMZN and JD.COM .... JD.COM seems like it is trading at the better value and may have more growth.... On the other hand when I leave my apartment today at least two doors in the hallway will have AMZN packages leaning against them ..... Which would 5I's preference between the two be and why ? ..... And 5I's view of JD.COM's prospects would be interesting ?......

Q: Hello 5i, Seasons greetings!
Is there a lock up that expires in the next couple of months for this stock?
Do you see it as profitable or more so when compared to BKNG?
Thank you.

HUYA Inc. American depositary shares each representing one Class A (HUYA $3.31)
-
DouYu International Holdings Limited (DOYU $8.54)
Q: Hi, I know that Chinese stocks are not your focus but I'd appreciate your comments if you have any thoughts.
In October, Huya, a gaming company announced that it would buy out Doyu at 0.73 of its own share early next year. From my understanding, once the buyout ratio is confirmed publicly, the price of the bought company (Doyu) should trade very closely to the bought ratio (0.73). However, Doyu is now trading at 20% less than the closed out price.
As of Dec 11, Huya closed at $20.35 USD and Doyu is at $11.71 USD. 73% of $20.35 should be $14.85. There is a big gap between the proposed buyout price and the market price. Do you know why this is the case? The gap doesn't make sense. Thanks.

Q: Trades as SONG In London and HPGSF on TD Ameritrade. A royalty fund with many institutional investors? Your views?
Q: Not sure if my question was sent a moment ago so will repeat.
I tried to buy this recently at $47.00 but missed out as it rose quickly to $80.00 . Today it is back down almost to my desired price. What caused this equally rapid price reversal ? Would you buy today if it hits $47.00 again or pass?
Always appreciate your advice.
John

Q: I have read articles that suggest JMIA could be like AMZN in the US or the MELI in South America. Do you feel that they have that kind of prospects in Africa?
Q: Is this a buy at the moment in regards to its vaccine.
Q: I am quite interested by ZEM for diversification, and also for China, since China will probably become soon the first world economy...Concerning tax efficiency, are the "non-US stocks" listed on US markets submitted to the US tax on dividends? and are the foreign stocks listed on "non US markets" submitted a foreign tax on dividends (for most ,or for a minority) ?Thanks, Keep doing your excellent job , great help for all !
Q: Hi Guys
I purchased a 3% position in this London based Aerospace Company for its Dividend.
The debt is a little high, but it has decent cash flow, and Interest coverage, their future earnings don't look that great at around 10%, but their ROE looked decent. What do you think ?
thanks!

Q: Overall happy with my portfolio, shifted some riskier holdings to more largecap/div arristocrat ETFs to ride out the fun so far this year. Wondering if we are getting to good timing for shifting some assets to more aggresive/targeted holdings. I would like to sell some VIG and replace it with something else. Say 2X 2% positions. What 2 holdings would you buy right now in a registered account to replace VIG, or would you justt continue to hold VIG at this time. Only restriction is to not be canadian but could be CAD$ fund or ETF. Some options I am considering are rbf1067 or XEF for 1 position and the other a US or global/china play stock like baba. Looking for momentum upside as compared to VIG.
Q: Do you think it's worth continuing to hold Flutter? What do you think of the FanDuel deal? I see Flutter will join Stoxx 50. Thanks!
Q: Do you know who Is Behind fengate?
What are the next big steps and timing for scr. E.g. Legislative approval, cash flow from New Jersey, what new states are expected to allow gambling and when? Thank you for your prospective.
Do you see this legislative change also impacting The stars group. Any thought they companies would get together.
Mike
