Q: Hi, after holding CVE for awhile and being under water, I'm finally nearly breaking even. After the new MEG deal, I wonder what people might think about selling it to get into other 'growthier' stocks long-term (like SHOP, LMN, PRL, for example, but open to other ideas as well).
Thank you!

5i Research Answer:

We think CVE is decent right now, and the MEG deal (if successful) will be good for the company (comments posted). For energy sector exposure, we would be fine holding it today. Shifting to the other, more secular growth companies can make sense if one is trying to reduce energy sector exposure, or one wants to move to a more 'growthier' set up. But for the sector we are comfortable right now with CVE.
