Q: Hi Team I have about 100k to invest for my 82 year old mother. I am strictly interested in income and security. I am not interested in etfs which stock or stocks would you recommend. She already has about 100k divided between CM and GWO which were bought about 10years ago.

Q: Peter and team, I have a managed RRSP account that I wish to transfer into my self directed account. The account contains some large cap US stocks but mostly medium and small sized Cdn stocks. Is there a preferred strategy to move the account holdings ? I had thought to ask the firm to liquidate and transfer the proceeds but am now thinking the thinly traded small companies would be better sold over time. Is transferring everything in-kind better ? Thanks you.

Q: Hi Peter. Could I have your opinion on Marlin Gold Mining (MLN-V)as a long term play in the junior gold space. I did some research on Wexford Capital and CEO John Brownlie and was impressed so established a position several weeks ago. Based on yesterday's News Release, I may add to my position (REF: "Creation of Sailfish Royalty Corp. to Unlock Shareholder Value"). What is your opinion on the News Release ?? Thanks.

Q: I'm currently holding Loblaws. It represents about 5% of my portfolio. If was just purchased a few months ago. I'm a long term investor. Do you think it's worth holding for 5 years plus. If not can you recommend another in this sector. I think this is a great site and love the job the staff at I5Reseach are doing. I read this site daily.

Now with the Paladin / Endo deal done (what a pleasant outcome) my question is about the spinoff: Knight Therapeudics (GUD- TSXV). I would like to continue to partner directly with Jonathan Goodman and his team. Do you think it would be a good idea to purchase additional shares of GUD when they begin trading on March 3rd ??? Q: Keg Restaurants Royalty Fund KEG.UN is experiencing severe damage to the stock price (15.58) as it has plunged to just above the 200 day MA (15.15) ... is this just due to losing money in Q4 ? or is there more to the story... at 8¢/ month , the yield is over 6%
... is this a BUY ?

Q: As a shareholder of Constellation Software (CSU), I wonder why they don't do a stock split this would encourage more small shareholders to buy in, not many people want to buy 10 or 15 shares. Their volume each day is very low and it seems that this can allow a few shareholders to affect the stock price. Recently on no news other than some analyst from RBC downgrading the company from a buy to a hold the stock had a large drop. Would you have any comments? Thanks

Q: I am interested in any comments that you might have on ZDV -BMO Canadian Dividend ETF. My interest is mainly for solid and growing income. This ETF has a higher dividend than some similar ETFs. Reading the questions and your responses is indeed a great education. Thank you. Len
