Q: re: NRG

As per your last answer May 28, NRG went through their planned one-to-four stock consolidation and as is usually the case just like you said, the market wasn't very kind to the move.

I'm still sitting on this as a long time hold. I'm wondering if there is anything new to report since we last discussed it on May 28. Also, can you please tell me if NRG Energy Inc. & Alter NRG Corp have any relationship?

Q: ACC: Is there any news behind the spike in volume in the shares of amica mature lifestyle. The volume was 306k compared to average daily volume of just 12k.

Q: Greetings and my best wishes for all, your families and friends.
I hold Chorus Aviation (CHR.B) for income and I am ok with the volatility. However, the last time the stock reached new highs a large block of shares was dumped on the market. There was a large gain today and the stock seems strong. I would be interested in your thoughts on the reasons for the move and if there are any large blocks that may be dumped by fund managers.

Q: What do you think of Icahn Enterprises (IEP.US) for a long-term hold. It pays a good dividend and has a proven track record behind it. Would it be very cyclical or is it a little more all-weather depending on the takeovers it initiates? Thanks

They completed CDN$20,017,000 equity financing plus the exercise of underwriters' over-allotment option Aggregate gross proceeds raised from the base offering of 10,820,000 common shares completed on July 23, 2014 and the over-allotment option will total $23,019,550. Q: I know you are not a fan of IMG Iamgold but they came out with stellar earnings this morning. Franco Nevada is shoring up its war chest. Could they be interested in IMG? After IMG screwing up for so many years perhaps they learnt something just like SW sierra wireless did. Of course no comparison between tech and gold!

Q: Based on yesterday's close Auto Canada's (ACQ) price to book ratio is 7.25 compared to Constellation Software's (CSU) 21.26 and trailing PE ratio is 36.21 compared to 57.47. Considering the nature of each company's business and assets, which I appreciate are comparing apples and oranges, I consider ACQ fully valued however significantly more reasonably priced than CSU. Doesn't the high rate being offered by CSU on the recent rate reset pfd share issue indicate the risky nature of CSU as an investment? How does the market justify a price for CSU that is so high relative to what is supported by their financials? Could I please have your comments?

Q: i have a tendancy to trade and take profit more often than necessary and miss the further upside and downside also sometime,to decipline my self would it be wise to adjust to model growth portfolio and not worry about other stocks outside the portfolio?.Growth is my intention.
