Trying to find a good entry point for lmp. Can you help me with the earnings expectations for this company over the next 2-3 years?

Ideally, I'd like to hold for the same time frame. I don't want to waste a year though as they grow into their multiple.

I've been a member since shortly after you offered your services and watch your appearances on BNN shows with great interest. In my opinion your service is top notch. Most members ask good to the point questions. However there is getting to be a number of members that are writing a LETTER in asking a question, almost to the point of asking you to manage their portfolios. Have you considered limiting the length of their questions??

Q: A followup on the answer to Brian's question: the 4.74% reset rate is on the issue price, $25, correct? That would mean that the issue would pay $1.185 US dividend, more than the current $1 US. So with the current 5.2% yield expected to lift to 6.1% based on the current $19.20 SP, that makes these ENB US$ issues attractive buys, particularly with US interest rates expected to rise, does it not? Q: I currently hold my maximum in CSH, SIA, NWH.UN, & DR. I plan to increase my present position in EXE to match those other holdings.

Is this a reasonable approach? Are there other names in the sector that would be preferable to increasing my EXE?

Q: Is the reason for this stock's demise over the past couple of years solely related to activity, or the lack thereof, in the oil patch? The dividend has kept me hanging on while I wait for a recovery. You have often referrd to the company's cash reserves so should I still feel comfortable that the dividend will be paid and wait for oil activity to recover?

Q: Given the recent patent infringement issues on top of difficulty in China, what is your take on QCOM? It has a very dominant position in mobile chips, but this seems to be the source of many of its problems. I remember when this happened to Microsoft in the late 1990's. The stock lanuished for years before recovering. MSFT was at a much higher P/E then compared with QCOM today, however. What are the chances of recovery? Would you recommend holding QCOM or taking the hit and selling to look for better opportunities? Any suggestions in the technology space?

Q: I would like to add something I have learned since I have been with 5i for a couple of years now. I have learned an awful lot and no lesson has been more important than the need to diversify. Unfortunately, at first that simply meant to me holding companies in different sectors without enough regard for exactly where those companies earn their money. So when oil and commodities collapsed, not only did my purer plays (Tck, G, Sgy) drop but "associated" companies in other sectors declined as well (Rus, Bdi, Qst) so I realized I wasn't as diversified as I thought. Lesson learned.

All in all, I have been happy with my total returns over these past few short years. But I seemed to have achieved those returns by having some 2,3, and even 4 baggers while having lots of losers. Is this a "normal" situation or just a current sign of the times and the makeup of my porfolio? Is there a percentage of winners one should expect in a portfolio (assuming moderate risk)? Or will the losers often/usually outnumber the winners?
