Q: Hi Peter,
Do you like Dundee REIT which invests in Canadian office properties or a REIT that has exposure to the US market, such as Morguard REIT, that invests in Cdn. retail and office properties, but also in residential units in Florida and Louisiana? Also, do you prefer Painted Pony, PPY or Peyto Exploration, PEY. Thanks so much!

Q: I have just taken over a portion of our investments. Active managers handle majority. Have US stock DE, DIS, JPM and BRK.B Canadian BTE,CPG,CUS,BAD,BCE,D&H,CFN,RFN,PWF,MIC,AX:UN,ADN. $10000 each. $40000 still to invest and need your advise as to What sectors should I look at and would appreciate your opinion as to portfolio security. Managed funds are diversed, and include bonds as well as emerging markets. Thanks

Q: I heard on Bloomberg that 'investors were snapping up tech stocks today'. Isn't this a mistake because for every investor who's snapping up tech stocks, there's a seller. This has been the case since the first stock was traded centuries ago. The reporter should really say that tech stocks are trading higher on the day. Perhaps that doesn't sound as good to the listeners

Q: I have a question about Brookfield Renewable Energy. I am a new member just creating my 30K TSFA portfolio now. I need to decide between CSU and and BEP; I already own Stantec, and I want one more A level stock. Which one do you think would be best for total return for the coming year. I realize they are very different stocks. (I also plan to own SYZ, AYA, ESL.)
