I'm curious to know what names get you really excited nowadays. Are there any comapnies that you see really moving in the next 12-24 months? I'm looking for places to move the more speculative portion of my portfolio (~10%).
Q: Do you have any thoughts on Mobileye (MBLY)which did an IPO earlier this week with shares jumping from $23 to $34.50 yesterday (Thursday)? The company seems to have developed the ideal product for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), i.e. the technology currently being adopted by many car manufacturers to help drivers avoid accidents (lane departure warnings, automatic braking systems to avoid imminent collisions, alerts of pedestrians, etc.). You may have access to information that I cannot find via a Google search on the Internet namely, is the company really the leader in this field? Are there competitors that are well positioned to overtake it? Feel free to provide any other comments about the company that would help me decide whether or not to buy, or perhaps to wait for a pullback.
Thanks,
Robert
Q: Please give us your opinion on the results posted by SGY and WCP and which do you think will have the better capital appreciation over the next 12 months.

Q: Hi 5i, my question is regarding Tree Island Steel ( TSL ) Today they released second quarter results. Can you look thru the numbers and give an opinion . any red flags etc. ?
i was thinking of purchasing some QST by selling a third of my TSL position in order to spread the risk. i realize each of these companies are in totally different sectors and are very risky. what do you think of this strategy ? thank you
Q: Hi,
Can you give a follow-up on the conference call on the quarterly result by AVO. In particular, any concerns an investor should have going forward?
Thanks.
Ed.
Q: Hi,
Could you please tell me why the more than average sell off of SVC Sand vine, CS Capstone, and BB Blackberry? SVC was a resent recommendation twice on BNN. BB was highly mentioned on Seeking Alpha. I am thinking of selling at a loss one or more of them and buying PTX or DEE, both in the oil and gas sector (your opinion).
Thank you,
Dennis
Could you please comment on releases from parkland fuel and stella jones, also, if as noted responses are delayed today, could you add crescent point that reports this afternoon as well. The former two seem to have marginal results but would appreciate your take.
Q: fsz
Hi- Fiera recently announced June assets under management, but did not include a comparison to May or previous months. I can't find more info on the Fiera site or archived news. Are the assets under mnanagement increasing or decreasing? Is that why Fsz is going down? I wanted to add to my small position.
Thanks
Q: Concerning the short attack on EIF, it would appear that some of the comments by Veritas and repeated in the G&M article were misleading, if not bordering on dishonest. You mentioned the fact that everyone is entitled to their opinion, but if an ordinary joe tried such a scam, they would likely be fined by the regulators. So how do these people get away with it? My investor question is; do you think the secured debentures, more specifically the EIF.DB.D debs, are an ok buy. They are "on sale".
Q: Hi Peter, Avigilon has been taking quite the beating ever since 2014 began (bad timing for those who entered a position) and with their recent earnings release, stock has been taking a further beating. While I strongly believe in the future of this company, have a high appetite for risk and currently have a 2-3 year investment horizon on the stock, I am wondering if I will ever see a profit on this investment. Do you believe this company will ever return to their previous highs and beyond and perform as they have in 2012/2013 or has the fundamentals shifted out of favor for AVO? Thank you.
