Q: Hi, I have a very diversified portfolio, including most of your recommendations from your model and income suggestions. I do not have any of your Growth picks. I am thinking of using your current percent allocations, unless you could give me your top 10 list, to cut my homework time in half. This is for a mad money act, with 100,000 with a minimum 4 year time frame. Thanks

Q: I cannot understand why you prefer CSH.UN over SIA. Over the past year SIA is up over 20% whereas CSH.UN is up just over 9 %. CSH.UN yields 4.5% compared to 5.6% for SIA. You can look at 3 and 5 year comparisons and SIA is clearly ahead of CSH.UN is stock price appreciation. SIA has the momentum and pays a higher yield so beats CSH.UN on both counts. Can you please explain your preference for CSH.UN.

Q: Announced today that they retained a banking firm to review potential strategic and financial opportunities. Does this sound like the company is considering going private/selling itself, or looking to grow by merging with or acquiring another company? As a shareholder I would be more pleased with the latter as this allows me to participate in the growth of the company.

Q: Hi Peter & Team,

For a company that has held up fairly well during the various market meltdowns the past month, CXI has taken quite a beating in the past week or so. Is there any reason you know of? Are the fundamentals still solid on this company? And if so, would you recommend picking up some more at these prices? I already have a full position, but would like to get a bit aggressive and concentrate a bit more on what might be my highest potential holdings.

Q: Hi,

I have some First Quantum (FM) in my portfolio that is down significantly. I am thinking about selling it for the tax loss and replacing with Glencore.

What are your thoughts on Glencore? What is the difference between GLNCY and GLCNF?
